Most miles trail riding in 1 day

I am planning a ride for the Friday of Memorial weekend. I measured it out on google maps and it's about 270 miles. It's basically a bunch of trail loops off of the side of a rail grade trail.

Has anybody trail rode that many miles in 1 day?

Nice. That's the kind of riding we do. Well I haven't been out yet this year but it's not my fault
Where are you located? Cross country rules.

I am about an hour west of the Twin Cities in MN.

Ride will start near Isle, MN and ride the Soo ine from Isle and go to Hill City and then back to Isle.

They have a google earth file that marks the trails in Aitkin County.

Can't imagine doing that kind of length ride on a Raptor at my age (43). I've typically ridden Can Am Renegades and Outlanders since 2008 except for my last bike that was a Scrambler 1000.
I got tired of all the maintenance that they take. I'm liking this bike. It's comfy, hopefully even better when my Elkas come in a couple weeks.

I don't usually go on multi day rides (I'm old) BUT, I went on a poker run with my friend and his 2 daughters a couple years back on the slopes (foothills) of Mt Rainier in Washington and that turned out to be around 63 miles on one Saturday. Left from Oak Creek winter Elk feeding station... Nachees, WA.

Not me! The most I've done on the trails is 90 something, and that was a long hard ride. I've went over 100 miles in West Virginia several times. But like 1/2 would be on the road, and we usually run 65 mph (Top speed of the Razr's) on the road, so it don't take long to add up some miles.

I did the ride yesterday. It was about 55-60 degrees and light steady rain all day. I started at 8am and rode until about 7pm. Logged about 285 miles. I'll post up a couple pics and some vids. I thought I would be sore afterwards but I actually felt better than I do after a 2 hour XC race. I just about clipped a deer that ran across the trail. <---Will post vid of that!!

Damn 55 to 60, 90 Friday and upper 80's rest of weekend in WV. ! I just got back from the ten mile mud hole. It's 37 miles one way, if you go directly there and don't stop and play on any of the hill climbs.

Can't wait to see your pic's and video, that's alot of miles in one day!
