So I have been having this problem when I go on all day trips and my gloves get wet from water splashing up on the grips. Then I am stuck with wet gloves all day long. Does anyone know of a waterproof palm, vented for hot weather riding glove ?

Thanks in advance,
CJ

Go to this site http://www.sierratradingpost.com/ and look under ski gloves, they have some leather ones which are waterproof, just bought a pair and some pants/jacket. Their prices are pretty good.

Here's the stock number for the gloves 87758-23-XL
Pants>1673D-87-L
Jacket>1673C-87-L

Pants and jacket are Gore-Tex

Nash,
I found that they stopped making that glove 2 years ago. But it looked like a great one honestly, so I called the manufacturer and they have a better glove out now.

I actually ordered a pair of KLIM Dakar's the other day. The rep stated the palm is water resistant, so we will see

If the Klim's don't work I will be returning them and getting a pair of drop VAC's. The drop VAC's are water proof on the palm and made for this exact type of riding. If the drop VAC's dopn't work I am going with the Gore-Tex gloves.

Drop V.A.C. = http://www.dropmfg.com/v.a.c.-glove-09

KLIM Dakar's = http://www.klimusa.com/products.php?newTheme=dirt

Nash,
I take a XL glove and they only have them in white/mnt, which is so not my color. SO I called the manufacturer who told me that they stopped making that glove 2 years ago and replaced it with the VAC. I actually think the VAC looked pretty descent. LEt me know how your hold up, I may get them as a second set.

Thanks,
CJ

I know you might find this sad but ,I actually wear horse riding gloves. There made by a company called Roeckl. There cross country gloves. When I stopped racing 2 wheelers and started racing quads ,I got blisters bad and it was the movement of the glove on my hand.I replaced my gloves every 60 mins run time. Once they became a loose fit ,I got blisters and had to throw them away. Yes 1 days mx and new gloves next week. I tried everything. I went to a horse show and found these gloves on offer,£14 for 2 pairs.Tried them on and ,nice fit and they don't stretch. They have a rubber palm and fingers ,so good for mud and good for hot days as there is no padding on the backs.
