pretty much right in the middle of everything. 30 min from mountain trail rides, 1 hr from dunes. a few hours from moab to the south. A most enjoable place to ride.

So far I have been pretty lucky with that; Dallas, Austin, Picayune, MS and now Charlotte are all close to some excellent riding areas.

Born and raised outside a town of 300 people in Nebraska. Now stuck in Omaha for now. Sure miss having 120 acres in my back yard to go ride whenever. Also, have plenty of friends with many more acres to ride. Even better yet it was all country roads so I could ride wherever I was going in the area.

Sixpac...........what is Genoa like up there in Nebraska? Was headed up there two years ago to ride when most everyone backed out.

Actually I haven't made it there yet. The majority of my riding is on private land. The only public riding areas I've been to are in Council Bluffs, IA and Halsey. Genoa is supposed to be a very good place to ride as far as I've heard, and have some pretty cool jamborees. There are a lot of people that ride in Genoa on this site: http://nebraskaatv.net/ Jump on there and there is some good info on it and the people are very friendly.

I've been wanting to go as well. With Halsey closing most of its trails I'm guessing that there is a better chance that I'll being going to Genoa someday.

Macomb County Michigan (South East side of the state) there is 40 acres to ride on with an old dirt bike track and a short wooded trail. On the weekends we go north to middle Michigan to St Helen and Rose City, Michigan were we can ride from one town to the next. Ride for 3 hours get gas and lunch then ride some more. In the winter it is on Lake St. Clair.
