Got a couple of those places within (gulp) 5 hours or so of here, Kermit, TX and Little Sahara. No sand in the part of Texas that I'm in, just rocky rocks and silty sand.

I work over in Davant LA. Where do you ride?
smo0oth1 11-28-2008, 03:34 PM Well umm lol I have only been to Cravens near Pitkens. (not sure on the spelling). I am going to Forest Hills for the first time next week also. The 700 is the only bike I've owned so a bit new to the scene. Had a blast out at Cravens though. Got there at about 10am and rode till 4pm. We were the only ones in the woods. Me a 300ex and two honda 250r dirt bikes. I kept a pretty close pace with dirt bikes though and we constantly stopped for the 300ex. My friends said they were impressed with the bike and my first time riding. Not to sure of the comparison but they (the dirt bikes) were dissapointed when they lost to a 2nd gear roll on race.
scuzz 12-01-2008, 10:52 AM You ever go out to Wiggins MS to the Sand Hill ATV?
http://www.sandhillatv.com/
I live in Austin but have relatives in that neck of the woods. You should really check it out it's worth the 2 hour trip. I live near Austin, TX so it's out for a day trip for me but it's a blast even w/o paddle tires. Jeff runs the place there and is a super-nice guy.

It's OK to be a brit... I guess. My niece married one and now lives just outside London. I guess about the only thing bad is that now she's starting to sound like a Brit and she has a tendency to drive on the left... Over there = OK, Over here = suicide. As for the beer, make mine a Pepsi... I don't drink. If you ever get to this side of the pond and make it as far as San Francisco, I'll buy YOU a beer... or several.
