so how did it do?

:tup:Wow what a difference.
It took a 1/2 hour for install. Remember you have to use a handle bar with a removable cross brace.
At first it felt mushy left to right. When I stopped playing around and road the bike like i should this system worked awesome. I raced 100 miles in the rain and mud could not see much all day, I hit Two different G outs. I should have broke my wrists, I barley felt but a medium hit.
That made up my mind right there, they worked for me.
I liked how the vibration is cut down 75%.
I also have the houser stem +2 this helped.
I'm racing in the "open desert" hard packed, sand, rocks, bush waken, hills all in one fun day of racing, I'm very happy with this Shock & Vibe. Numb free for me.

Think it's ridiculous how you buy a 500 dollar steering stabilizer then you buy a new quad an you guys want 180 freekin dollars for a new mounting bracket. Don't think I'll ever buy another one just for that fact. An I have both the PRP stabilizer and the antivibe risers. for the average joe that just trail rides an buys new quads every couple years it kinda sucks!!

The mounting kits come with everything except the stabilizer; it is not just a bracket for $180. Usually if you want the best you have to pay more. In this case you get the best and you pay less: GPR mounting kit $185, Scotts mounting kit $210

Do you guys think it's more vibration or just muscle fatigue that causes you to not hold onto the bars during a race. I want to get handlebars but debating whether to save money for the shock and vibe clamps.

sweet, wanna buy it back? if it was 100 dollars I would do it, but if I have to spend 180 for a new bracket, I will sell the whole thing, an buy another brand. been hearing great things about the CCP an I can buy three for the same price as one. So if I buy a new quad I can just buy another one, an it'll still be cheaper than just your bracket!!

:xx:This weekend I had 2 three hour rides planed.
After three hour my hands were not numb what so ever......
After Five hour still not numb.
Total 180 miles in two days, this was Evey type of terrain.
hill climbs, down hill rocks, high speed, sand washes, everything it even rained, then mud. great weekend In Mojave Desert, JAWBONE, CA.
Product is top notch. I'm very happy.

You always have the choice of buying a less expensive stabilizer. When you buy a precision you get performance that in our impact absorption tests out performs other stabilizers by over 600%, you get steering zone adjustments that let you control both the steering and the slide of the quad. You also get longevity; to the best of our knowledge every Precision stabilizer ever sold is still in use. Then there is resale value, Precision Stabilizer sell for top dollar, if you can find one. Many customer, who buy a new different model quad, choose to sell there stabilizer separately, then buy a brand new one and lose less than the $180 cost of a mounting kit, sometime a lot less.

Yes, if its unused I will buy it back.

Wow sounds like they really work, what handlebars do you run, specifically what's the height on them and do you have a different steering stem than stock?

Manchvegas, you want some cheese to go with that wine? haha You are complaining about $200, yet you say you buy a new quad every couple of years. Hmmm, spend thousands every couple of years and you are going to complain about $200? Hope you don't put to many aftermarket parts on any of the quads you buy, because you are probably going to be very disapointed at how many don't fit your new quad.

I love my Precision's, wouldn't trade them for anything, well worth the price in my opinion. I would pay even more for them if I had to. (George, you didn't just read that!) Looking forward to trying out the Pro model on my 700XX once I get it back.

I am very happy with the shock and vibe clamps also. Another great product.

what size antivibe risers do you need for the 700xx, the shorties or the longer ones? (speaking of bolt length) Surprised non of you run flexx bars. I had no problem spendin 480 dollars on my stabilizer but I do have a problem with 180 for a couple aluminum brackets, just pisses me off, sorry!! For those of us that don't race an spend 500 on a stabilizer it just sucks you can't economically move it to another quad. Seems like you all are willing to bend over for precision, be my guest.:birds:

Why would you bring members into your rant about Precision? Simply use another brand.

That's why^ also, I have shock an antivibes as well but don't know if the size stem I have will fit the xx or not.

The stock stem Honda 700xx gets the Shock & Vibe sc_-1020-000311 that’s a 10mm*20mm long stud this fits virtually every stock Honda ATV stem.
If you have an aftermarket stem then it doesn’t matter what make or model the quad is, the shock & vibe for that stem will fit any quad.

You need to get the cones from the stem manufacturer.

For someone that doesn’t even have an XX yet you are sure pissed off about buying parts for it. No one here is bending over for precision, we all just know that you get what you pay for in the aftermarket world. If 180 is to much money for a couple aluminum brackets then sell your stabilizer and get something cheaper...when you get your XX that is.:birds:

I had an outlaw and a rincon, sold em both an bought a renegade, put a steering stabilizer PRP and the antivibe risers. I decided to go back to a sport quad, as... I don't need a 4 wheel drive and the renegade is a heavy beast, I was looking at the outlaw too I like that it's almost 80 pounds lighter than the xx but like the reliability of a honda better. It just seems like a complete raping to me to soak someone that has already bought your product 180 dollars for a different mounting bracket. Why not offer a lower price for repeat customers? Keeps people coming back, buying more products, sending units back for rebuilds etc... I was happy with my prp stabilizer that's why I bought the antivibe risers as well. But the response of... oh, you bought a couple of our products? Well then here's a couple brackets for 180 or if you don't like the price sell it an buy a whole new one. If manufacturers want consumers to be loyal to them then they need to be loyal to the customers an not rape em for a couple brackets. :ohno: I'm not really pissed off, I'm just giving my opinion on a product, I don't argue the quality aspect as I like both products I have bought an customer service has always been good.

Once again GPR mounting kit $185, Scotts mounting kit $210 Precision mounting kit is $180

I don’t see you bashing GPR and Scotts on their 700xx sponsor thread, that’s right GPR and Scotts don’t support this site.

I wouldn't worry about it George. I am using a converted 450r Elka/Fastway dampner and it sucks. It was cheap, but I wish you would ship worldwide on youre website. The UK price put it way out of my budget. Just a thought , Maybe you could pull a few strings and "make it so # 1" , just for the members of course. :D
