The cheap ones! $89 a pair for the black ones. The welds are done very well and the bars themselves are solid and the netting is heavy nylon. My 210 lbs doesn't bounce them. They will absolutely work for what they intended for which is to save your leg if you slip infront of the peg. I took a roll over onto mine and while the paint got scratched the nerfs held up 100%. Great product if your budget isn't ready for $300 nerf bars. If I ever upgrade to full nerfs I'm sure I can get $60 for these which is another plus.

i got mine in 2 weeks ago.my left side bars are off 1/8 inch from the foot peg.good thing i can make anything work.othe than the fitment issue these r great n feel real sturdy!!not bad for $85.

I got some of these last week as well. They are the perfect alternative to the more expensive full replacement nerfs. Honda raceing had some for twice the price but I don't see why it's more expensive for the same thing.

no not long at all... just pull the rear bolts of the front a-arms and bolt it up with the new ones, and bolt it up to the pegs and your done

Holy Shiz! I just got mine today...I got the chrome ones for my black XX...Now my black is definitely faster...lol...Seriously, they are pretty sweet and the welds are mint for $85...but I'm someone who doesn't mind the stock heelguards, so they work well for me...also, they are etched with no stickers...I would have liked a small ALBA sticker too, but I can't complain considering the quality of the nerfs! This, my friends, is my first upgrade...I am unfortunately going to get the bug....:xx:

An I didn't even know they made nerfs till I found this thread. I plan on going with both the bumper an the nerfs from them, now if I can just find someone that makes a decent grab bar. Are you banging them a lot? No problems for me and my quad gets ridden hard but I rarely hit the nerfs. I'm eventually swapping for PRM full.

No banging, I've stood on them a few times but haven't hit anything that would of damaged them.

I got a set of these in silver that are basically brand new. Have two rides on them. Perfect Condition. Looking to sell!! Or trade for black. PM me.

Jamming all the time with my foot when I should shift gear.
Tested both to loosen then and tighten them nothing works. :(

Remove your shift lever which mounts onto a splined shaft and move it up a tooth. I had to do the same thing because my boots would not fit.

Just thought I would let you guys know how good the customer service is at Alba. I've had a set on my XX for over a year and the welds at the mounting bracket for the foot peg were starting to break. I contacted Alba and sent a couple pictures of the cracks and they promptly responded and sent me a brand new set for free. I didn't even have to send them my old ones. So now I have a brand new black set of nerfs to put on when my polished set bites the dust..

I installed a set of black ones purchased off eBay. Very nicely built and fit great. They weigh almost nothing, I think the packaging materials weighed more.
These are quality nerfs for cheap!
I cant see how spending more money would be any better.

The thing I don't like is that the holes in the netting are so big. I'm working on a solution for this this week.

I didn't do anything special, just cut a piece out of some old nets and sewed it into the middle of the square.

the same thing has happened to my nerfs the weld cracked where it bolts to footpeg,i knew they were pos but for the price you cant go wrong , i sent them some pics and they are sending me a new set and dont have to send the old set back, i am going to sell them when i get the new ones, and have the old one welded back, then im going to sell the new set for what i got in them and the repaired set for half price, im going to upgrade to something a little stronger, may moto activ or ims, or prm, or houser but housers will break the bank!

I assume I will be happy as well,they look real good I went with the black as well
