So I was just curious as to how much MORE money I need to save to dump into my quad. So I goto proarmor and add it up...

1 x Honda TRX700XX 2008-UP Pro XC Bumper BLACK (http://www.proarmor.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=1156)
1 x Honda TRX700XX 2008-UP Full Chassis (http://www.proarmor.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=1159)
1 x Honda TRX700XX 2008-UP Rear Frame Skid (http://www.proarmor.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=1160)
1 x Honda TRX700XX 2008-UP Black Fat Peg Nerf Bars (http://www.proarmor.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=1200) https://www.proarmor.com/store/images/pixel_black.gif
$427.33 TOTAL

It should total up to $721.70

Does that seem right to anyone else?! :lmao:

I think i need 2-50 orders at that price!

The $721.00 sounds right. I paid $318 for my nerfs, and that was with a 10% discount for pre-ordering them!

Why should it total 721.70? Nerfs are bout 250, skid about 120 and bumber about 140. Why do you have rear frame skid listed? Our bikes don't have a swingarm and only require one full frame skid.

I like their bumpers, they seem well built and worth the money:

Same thing with their skid plates, which would be my biggest concern at red river atv.

You cant get the Fat Peg nerfs for anywhere near $250 that I have found. You could probably get a standard nerf that doesn't have a built in heel guard or peg for that, but they aren't making them. And Pro Armor does make 2 separate skids for the chassis on the XX. Go to their website and take a look.

And that much money doesn't even figure in A-arm guards either!

Aghh did'nt notice "fat" nerfs. But where did the 721.70 come from? Was that what the total was supposed to be and the site messed up? I'm going with PRM. I was looking to get there nerfs, full body skid plate and a-arms skids for bout 600.00$. I would'nt make it through the woods around here with those fat ones. Are the big ones needed for anything particular or just added room?

Um, i thought their site might have added it wrong, the jury is still out on that one.

What do you think about the PRM nerfs that are metal and not netted?

I want some nerf bars and heal gaurds, just not sure which ones yet, but obviously the best. I've seen proarmors stuff and its TOP QUALITY.

PRM has netted and full aluminum. I'm getting the full aluminum ones.

I like how they stay tucked closer to the bike and offer all the protection I need. You prefer the fat nerfs?

Well they look pretty cool lol

I like their peg, but I think the solid aluminum would be best for trails. I wish they came in black though, or can you get them that way?

EDIT: WOW $75 TO POWDERCOAT THOSE!?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING!?

So even though they make a front and rear, I dont need both?!

Yea there is an option to powdercoat for 75.00 in any color, check out the link above. I rode a 450r with the fat pegs and they seemed to have some advantages over the smaller. One is that you can sorta use it as a side bumper to grind around trees but.... I'm not sure a IRS machine will be able to do it like a SA machine. If your not a hard core rider like me it comes down to your preference of looks.

As for as the skid plate goes I would think that the Full one covers what the rear single does also. I would opt for 25 bucks more and get the full. I would like to get the nerfs now but need to prioritize my needs and want with the build. Thinking tires first, protection second and suspension third
