I finally finished all of the installation today. Thought of a cool way to seal off the programmer form the elements, and still mount it under the seat. That little sucker will fit right into one of those portable q-tip holders. Just trim a little off of the cap, slide it in there and tape it up. Then velcro it to the plastic under the seat and, viola!

The QRS sounds pretty tame when you start it, but once you lay into it it is pretty damn loud. I was only able to take it across the street, and never even got past second gear, but DAMN it is a fire breather! Granted it's been a while since I've rode her, but it justs want to really GO now. Amazing what opening them up does. I can't believe that 3hp is all of the difference it makes, but all I can say is I can't wait to hit the trails!!

I'll post pics of it all soon.

Its more than 3hp I bet, the Raptor gains around 10rwhp from stock to the Big 3. Thats a 25% gain in power! What controller you get?

No doubt its more than 3, I seen on HMF's dyno where they only pulled 3 but I find it hard to believe. You can also slip your programmer through the snorkel of the airbox to keep it safe

That must be with a full exhaust system. I only went with a slip on.

Feels like more than 3, that's for sure. I put on the HMF controller, which is the Dobeck.

I would have to think that HMF would show the hp gains they found. BTW, the HMF pipe is very nice, the red Vector tip gives it a nice touch. I will have a full write-up on the whole set-up soon (including pics).

Yea no doubt they would have shown there gains if it were more. I was implying the seat of the pants dyno results seem much much more.
