What gear do i need? Is it bad my xx is stock? Thanks everyone:xx: 700xxmaniac 09-13-2010, 10:49 PM ive race my bone stock xx in mx and came in 1st.... just ride the more u ride the better ull get... and learn how to slide it tuckere89 09-15-2010, 12:03 AM helmet goggles boots jersy pants. handguards are a good idea..id jack up the preload on the shocks to help with body roll..that hinders me in the woods..feeling like ur going to tip over all the time..in the straights ur fine..the xx has more than enough guts to take me 240lbs up a hill beating 450's with 150lbs riders...make sure all ur fluids are clean and in spec..clean ur air filter and box 100%... tuckere89 09-15-2010, 12:08 AM oh i almost forgot..to slide the xx around sharp turns is difficult..ive found that locking up the rears helps alot ..
