I think there's a reason why Honda made it exactly 686cc, the same as the Raptor. ;) I can't wait to kick some Yamaha ass!
Everyone is saying the Raptor will be faster, but I think Honda has something up their sleeves. I think we will all be impressed with the motor. And of course, you know it will be more reliable than the craptor.
I can't wait!

I think it will be a great battle over the coming years. :)

the raptor and especially the kfx700 will be no match for this bike. the raptor might be close in straight top speed but the honda will carve a line much better. it will be no contest in the woods.

its amazing, probly the best suspension ive ever seen on a sport quad. i cant even describe what the rear irs feels like, but it makes you faster. you would think you cant slide it well but you still can on demand. slow pace riding is like a cadillac and when you gas it up the shocks soak up everything. there wont even be a need to upgrade the shocks IMHO. you wont be dispaointed.

All I know is that I can't wait to see another big bore sport quad! I'm the guy who does the racing throttle bodies for Raptors, KFX 450's, LTR's, and so on......And I can't wait to get my hands on one of these! If it is as reliable as the Raptor 700, it will be awesome. It also looks like a few easy places to save weight. I think they are gonna miss a lot of the dune market because of the rear suspension, but we'll figure something out! :D

I agree kenny it will be alot of fun. soon we will have 700cc battles going on from every manufacture just like the 450's.
hey kenny how much would a throttle body boring cost for the xx?

The first TB I can get my hands on will be free  The production pieces should be about $189, if they are no more complicated than the Keihin pieces I have done so far 8-)
I think one of the most important things is, not underestimating the competition. The Raptor has been thoroughly scienced out with all the "unlimited budget" types, and there are some monsters.....I hope the Honda is similar with how well they respond to mods. I can't wait to get my hands on one and find out!!! I will be lucky to get out of the dealership before I start taking it apart.....I might start with designing a nitrous kit, dual exhaust, big TB, airbox eliminator.....port the head....... Oh hell,ok ok...big bore first...gapless rings....whew, I feel kinda nasty. This should be funhttp://www.raptorforum.com/Smileys/raptor/satan.gif
