: 9/16" Review
Nash04 11-22-2010, 07:49 AM Got mine this past week and went riding this Sunday at Busco with NineLivez2go and bdr455 (John and Wayne) and wow! The bike handles much better and am still able to use the full IRS, was riding on some off camber trails and could fill the suspension doing its job, major difference that I noticed with this one, is that it's not as stiff as previously with the 11/16". If it wasn't for the fact that you could handle the turns much better, you would swear that it's an OEM bar but much better.
Big Thumbs Up!!
Thanks Kyle
Red-N-BlackXX 11-22-2010, 09:26 AM Sweet thanks for the review Joe! I may consider the 9/16 bar.
92K1500 11-22-2010, 09:32 AM How does it turn/slide compared to the 11?
Also which one do you like more?
Nash04 11-22-2010, 05:55 PM As for turning/sliding, they feel the same which is good. Where I noticed the big difference is with the IRS, the 9/16" would let the IRS do its job where the 11/16" would resist. So like yesterday when I was way off camber the IRS still work but the 11/16" would have resisted once it had reach a certain point. Also noticed that its rides not as stiff as with the 11/16" Don't get me wrong the 11/16" is real good but to my kind of riding, thought that it was a little stiff. Basically it will depend on your driving skills and riding area.

This is exactly what we need to hear! I would give more input as a manufacture but really this user feedback is what people really need to here.
skier207 12-13-2010, 11:41 PM I have 2 rides on my 9/16 bar I think it is the most bang for the buck I have gotten out of any mod I have done so far. Honda should have put this bar on the XX to begin with. I guess that is bad for Honda good for Kyle. Turning is much easier at low speeds. At higher speed I can drift around corners without that here comes a high side sensation, very predictable. The only trade off is the ride seems slightly more harsh at low speeds in real rough terrain. Nothing bad just a change in the ride, on the second ride I didn't notice it anymore. Awesome product, awesome customer service.
jake99buell 12-23-2010, 08:57 PM Got my bar 9/16 bar in today. Super fast shipping and a great product. Looks awesome fit super easy. I only had a loop around the yard because I'm outa gas but now find myself wondering what the bigger bar feels like. There is a noticeable difference with the 9/16 and I like it I just want to see the difference.
500Rubie 12-23-2010, 09:20 PM Santa brought my 9/16 today. Not in a big hurry to install since we have 18 inches of snow on the ground right now will have to wait for spring for a good review on my track
holy700xx 12-23-2010, 10:57 PM Glad you guys are liking the l8ton racing sway bars. Don't know what we would do without you kyle. I bought one of the first 11/16' sway bars and i fell in love with it right away. Wish i could compare the the two,,, all i know is the the stock one sucks and kyle's rules thanks kyle and happy holidays to you all
ssxr600 12-24-2010, 07:18 PM now im split, witch one works the best for gncc type of racing?

Thanks Guys! It is a good feeling being able to help! I hope I can continue to make improvements for these bikes. I hope you all have a great Holiday!
08700xx 01-11-2011, 08:19 PM Has anyone noticed if these help with going over the whoops? I loved racing up the big hills at Glamis but the whoops at the start would throw the back all over the place.
92K1500 01-11-2011, 08:22 PM I don't know yet because I haven't gotten to take my ATV anywhere since I put the bar on, just around MustangGH's house and he doesn't have any whoops.
I can tell you once I get to go to the lake though. I should be getting my shock back this week and I've been dying to ride so if we get a day on my weeked up in the 40's, 50's would be great I'm going to haul it out to the lake and play around.
Nash04 01-11-2011, 08:44 PM When I was in FL last week, some of the trails had a lot of whoopies and the bike handle them great with the 9/16"
08700xx 01-11-2011, 08:46 PM I hope the sway bar helps. I think the issue at the dunes is when one side comes off the whoop the paddle digs in and then the back just starts going side to side until I have to let off or get tossed off. lol
Nash04 01-11-2011, 08:47 PM I noticed if I put my weight towards the back, basically standing up but with my weight distributed towards the back, it never throw the rear end up. For that issue, the shocks upgrade will be the best resolution.
08700xx 01-11-2011, 08:50 PM Yeah I figured a good set of shocks would help me out a lot but im looking for something that can help until I can come up with the money for some new shocks.
92K1500 01-11-2011, 08:59 PM I use the same principal as dirtbikes. They can go faster through the whoops if they keep their weight shifted towards the back and just let the front end skip across the tops. Then again their rear suspension is a little more forgiving than ours too.
92K1500 01-15-2011, 05:34 PM I just got home from riding. It did great in sand, did so much better in the woods than before, and rode the same through the whoops.
So if you can ride the whoops stock you will be fine with the bar. It may be a LITTLE more springy on the back but that could just be me.
08700xx 01-15-2011, 05:39 PM Thanks for the info, looks like I need some new shocks and more seat time on the whoops.
Crash21 01-15-2011, 09:52 PM IMO the bar helps a bunch in the whoops for the side to side motion. I think it keeps it more stable
08700xx 01-16-2011, 12:55 AM Crash are you running the 9/16 or the big bar?
mustangGH 01-16-2011, 02:15 PM after riding 92ck's with the 9/16 and the elka shocks i think i might end up with the 9/16 after i get my fox shocks we will have to see but i think with the stock setup the bigger bar is better with aftermarket shocks with a good transition setup the smaller bar will be smoother and still hang the tail out just my opnion
Kyle8ton 03-03-2011, 07:38 PM 9/16" sway bars are back in stock!! Come & Get-em...
Pinto 03-03-2011, 11:03 PM Put me down for one!
slimedog 03-13-2011, 11:57 PM I rode today with my new 9/16 bar. I noticed it right away as it, as someone else said, didn't try to go highcenter. it cuts turns a lot quicker now. it stays down like a solid axle, almost like the 450r. But when i would hit rocks etc on one side the IRS did its job. Is a good product for the rider who does ride a variety of terrain. I don't think from reading here I would of been as happy with the 11/16 for all the things I do. And Kyle was good to work with, especially when my cc card didn't work at first haha.
700Xxrida 04-14-2011, 04:38 PM :rock:just ordered my 9/16 sway bar:rock:

Britalican 04-14-2011, 09:31 PM Are the 9/16 bars back instock?

Red-N-BlackXX 04-14-2011, 09:33 PM I like the sway bar. It will spin around with just a blip of the throttle on anything loose.
Queenz700XX 04-15-2011, 12:22 AM just got my 11/16 and it is an amazing mod. kyle is the man. he helped me get my order through for over 3 hours because my card was not working and he even paid for priority shipping which i told him he didnt have to.
