TRX700XXX 01-26-2011, 12:16 PM I'm trying to make the GNCC in PA and NY. Collage B class in the pm race. I raced the gncc in new york last year and it was very fun, especially the motocross track.
crwh45 01-26-2011, 07:53 PM If I can get back to NY, I will be racing in the GNCC at UV, and then WNYOA, if not, I will be looking for some stuff out here. Be using both the 700 and prolly a 450. Think I may step up to A this year, as I got 4th overall in the B last yr, but only made 11 of the 19 races.

Wow thats pretty good. A class is tough, I did B class last year and couldn't finish because I bent my tie rod too badly. Hopefully I will do better this time around.

Blak92 02-15-2011, 08:38 PM Going to race Snowshoe, WV GNCC with a buddy I ride with up at Rausch Creek. June 25th. I'll probably do something in the AM race, Shoe is suppost to be the hardest of them all.

Yea I heard its about a 20 mile lap instead of the normal 10. Also i forget either the 1st or 2nd half is really tough. I watched it on tv and seeing the pro's fly up the ski slope is so awesome.
Blak92 02-16-2011, 04:55 AM Our last local harescramble was 22mi long. It doesnt really make any difference riding it, its good for the ground though. You're not riding over the same spot over and over and over like a shorter say 8mi lap.
Anyone interested in running that one? Its a 6hr ride from here, we could caravan down.
crwh45 02-21-2011, 01:14 PM TRX700, I forget, but did you complete atleast one lap last year? If so, howdid you like gravity cavity? That is probably one of my favorites at UV.
Blak, where is it?
Mustang, so what you are saying is with the new shocks you are garuanteed to win right? haha.
TRX700XXX 02-21-2011, 04:17 PM TRX700, I forget, but did you complete atleast one lap last year? If so, howdid you like gravity cavity? That is probably one of my favorites at UV.
Yea I completed 3 laps and what they did last year is made a slalom type thing right before the gravity cavity so your not going fast and couldn't fly down it. It was still pretty cool though.
crwh45 02-22-2011, 11:35 AM Yea I completed 3 laps and what they did last year is made a slalom type thing right before the gravity cavity so your not going fast and couldn't fly down it. It was still pretty cool though.
Aww that sucks. You should try a MOTO there, where you are in 4-5 gear pinned hitting that. It is mad fun, and the first few times you do it, your balls come up to your throat.

Yea I'm not much of a jumper tho. That was the first time I was ever at a track with jumps.
crwh45 02-23-2011, 07:17 AM Yea I'm not much of a jumper tho. That was the first time I was ever at a track with jumps.
It makes you quite nervous doesn't? You see these guys jumping on TV, and it doesn't look hard at all. Then you get up to say a 30 foot double, and you are like HOLY SHIT, how do people have balls to do this. But then after you clear it, you get bigger and bigger, and then it comes natural LOL. Only thing that I sucks that I learned is that when you race the course on a Bike first, and then change to a quad. You get used to hitting them at a certain speed and then speed checking in the air on the bike, and then bam, you're on something heavier and definately need more UMPH to get through it haha.
mustangGH 03-04-2011, 11:25 PM Our shocks should be here next week got our front rears are all we need can't wait forst rface is next weekend keep y'all posted
ranger19jn 03-12-2011, 08:06 PM wth is "forst rface" lol

The track was very tight everyone rubbed tires and some people bent som tie rods
It was nice to finally meet vettedriver wish more of the oklahoma crew could make some of the races our next race is stillwater 500 on the 27th its mostly motocross those that like that should come out its a blast
Go to atvmotion.com for all the details
92K1500 03-13-2011, 09:38 PM I got third place as well.
Only thing is I'm not a girl and I'm not hurting like the rest of em :)
Time to put my Teixeira Tech uppers on and see how much it changes the way she handles in the corners.
ranger19jn 03-14-2011, 02:17 AM brian thats because you only ran 2 laps and I lapped you while you were stopped in the open (you didnt think id take that comment sitting down did you) I believe even my mom called you a pu$$y lmao
and dont give me i heard you coming so i pulled over there was over 350' of clearing before you turned and had over 1000' of clearing so pulling over to let me by hardly required you to stop
92K1500 03-14-2011, 02:35 PM I didn't hear you because you're still stock. I heard the 3 guys behind you. And I wasn't worried about it because I was already screwed so I was just getting out of everyone elses way.
92K1500 03-16-2011, 07:36 AM I was looking for pics from the race and found these from Sunday.
This is MustangGH holding his and Ranger19JN's plaques. As always Ranger was MIA.

mustangGH 03-16-2011, 09:44 AM yup def was a fun race and im still hurting from that damn handle bar slap i got in the stomach damn that hurt i got a bruise the size of two softballs lol oh well life is such but good job to everyone that was there
ranger19jn 03-16-2011, 04:26 PM I wasn't mia I knew exactly where I was and it wasn't waiting around for 30 min while they figure out who was in what place and still screwed it up
You guys need to get a little dirt on ya!
92K1500 03-16-2011, 10:41 PM They didn't have any mud holes on that track. It's been really dry lately. Hell about 1/3 of the track was freshly burnt. Had to jump a couple smoking logs.
ranger19jn 03-16-2011, 11:00 PM Yeah I loved the smoking log jump lol if our weather keeps it up were going to have a desert race series here before long
92K1500 03-16-2011, 11:18 PM Hell part of the track, about 2/3 of the way through just after the burnt section kind of felt kinda like desert to me because it was just a bunch of light colored dirt and some sandstone.
Red-N-BlackXX 03-17-2011, 08:57 AM We've been flooded over in my neck of the woods! I'll send some mud y'alls way!
mustangGH 03-17-2011, 10:39 AM jeff quit being a diva and be patient lol and yes you were mia lol
mustangGH 03-29-2011, 03:48 PM well we got third again in our class and OMG jeff actually made it to the podium this time lol jk bro

Baxter 04-12-2011, 06:05 PM Congrats again. You should be looking good for the overall class standings.
92K1500 04-12-2011, 11:32 PM I didn't go to the last one, but only one person in my class went and it was the leader so my position didn't change. lol I'm still second.
mustangGH 04-14-2011, 12:43 PM yeah but youre still in striking distance of the others if you had gone you wouldve opened up the gap on everyone else and made it hard to catch ya. but now all ya did was let dustin get farther ahead lol see you coulda got second lol
ranger19jn 05-22-2011, 10:53 PM ok this last race about killed me mustangGH wrecked and messed up his knee on the fourth lap and I had to ironman it for the rest of the race we placed 6th its our worst finish ever but luckily one drops off at the end of the season so as long as we dont screw up that bad again we should be fine
mustangGH 09-15-2011, 11:14 AM race coming up this weekend stay tuned for results lol. how is everyone elses cross country season going?
TRX700XXX 09-15-2011, 11:38 AM race coming up this weekend stay tuned for results lol. how is everyone elses cross country season going?
Good luck! And mine is yet to start lol, I hope to make it to round 12 GNCC in Ohio if my parents let me. :steamed:
JBGILL06 09-15-2011, 02:48 PM I wouldn't call mine a season, but I did race the XX at the Pine Lake Harescramble in Ashtabula, Ohio. I didn't do that great, and I didn't expect to. But for my first ever race, I had fun. I also provided some big air entertainment on the step-up jump. Overall, I placed 34 of 70, and 9 of 11in my class.

Baxter 09-15-2011, 05:51 PM My race series got cancelled for XC. Trying other things but I miss dodging trees. Look for another series ,in 2012.
Baxter 09-15-2011, 05:52 PM Also "Good Luck" this weekend , Buddy.

Wow man you were catching some serious air! How do you like your elkas?
ranger19jn 09-15-2011, 07:17 PM ha ha the heviest quad was the only bike I seen make that jump lol
cant wait to go play in the rain there is a 30% chance for race day 70%-40% every day until then
I was planning on letting the 700 sit out this race since it still has less than an hour on the overhaul but if its nasty ill be more than happy to pass some 450s in the mud on my 700 lol
or if its really bad might take the grizz out and really sling some mud lol
JBGILL06 09-15-2011, 10:19 PM Wow man you were catching some serious air! How do you like your elkas?
I like them, but I can't compare them to the stock shocks because I bought my XX used and the Elkas were already on.
Tenn700xx 02-26-2012, 11:36 AM Im going to run the rest of the winter season on the MSXC to see how the 700 will do in woods racing.
fhibbs12 02-27-2012, 08:44 AM So 1 tank of gas gets you through one of these races? Seems 22 miles hard on the throttle would be cutting it close?
