Great video. I didn't know if I really wanted to spend the money on the shock and vibe since I ride 95% sand but after watching how well it works... I'm sold.

So it must look ok then.
It helps in the sand with the chop on those holiday weekends bigtime.

I bought the shock and vibe clamps wayyyyyy back and ordered through Ed , Dying to try them and Ed promised to build me a stem for them. Eds been real busy at the moment and the stem is airborne over the big pond towards me.
If it is ok with you , I would like to shoot a vid , to why I think they will help me. I will send you the vid first for you to say it is ok to post.
Vibration is a big problem for me and suffer cramp "Big Time" which causes the olde death grip. :D and alot of arm pump.

Hi George,
Finally got them fitted. Is the stock setting ballpark. I got some shims with the clamps and was wondering if there is a setting like for shocks. + 2 for TT , -1 for XC and standard for MX etc.

19 out of 20 racers run them just how they come out of the box. start there, give them 1/2 hour to breakin, then adjust if needed.

How many riders have wrist elbow or shoulder problems, or suffer from arm pump? If you don’t get it yet you will eventually!!!

I get really bad hand pump if thats what you call it. My fingers get numb and can barley hold onto the bars from the vibration. I will probably pick some shock and vibes up during the spring or maybe for christmas. Any christmas deals?

If you buy it with a set of Easton handlebars you can save $40

I have used the Shock'n'Vibe clamp all this season and like you suffered badly with hand cramps. This clamp help out alot. It doesn't cure arm pump completely ,thats down to the rider(me included) but it does cut down on vibration and hard jolts to the wrists when you hit something unexpected.

I use it with one of Ed Teixeira's stems and haven't even had a blister on my palms since using it. I also use the Easton bars which IMO are better than Tag bars but never tried Pro Tapers to do a comparison.

my fingers use to go numb to but after the shock and vibe I don't have to stop and stretch them out any more made a big difference. Now if I can only get santa to bring a stabilizer.

I must not ride as hard or as fast as others. For I am almost 50yrs old and have no complaints so far. I like the set up though and I think it looks like a must have if you want to mount a camera on the bars. This might be on my Tax check list next year!

George,
Is there a right or wrong way to mount the clamps ?
All the vids have the crossbrace at the front, I want to run them with the crossbrace to the rear. This let me lean further back for the ovals.
It's all about hook up comin outta the corners ! :D

yes there is a right and wrong way to mount the S/V Clamp. You will find that they work much better with the handlebar clamping bolts (and cross bar when applicable) toward the front of the quad.

Not quite in the right place for this question but the Motowoz work great on all the types of racing ,I did. Just play with the preload and clickers and kick some butt. Simples !
Already ordered a set of rears ,which should be with me in the New Year.

Some of the Benefits of the Shock & Vibe are reduced vibration, 2 ½ pounds lighter at the highest point on the quad, the control you feel with a solid handlebar, more room on your bars for other products, you can run the bar angle you like without it changing during riding or from tension adjustment, if you bend your bars it is a cheap fix with the S/V, and there is very little maintenance on the S/V.
By the way the S/V has won the Baja 1000 the last three years running.

No you dont need the regular clamps, just the rubber pieces and spacers from the stem company.
