: 90+mph
baldydaz 02-22-2009, 04:23 PM saw just over 90mph on the xx yesterday, verified by a zx6r. it was on 10" street tyres and it was fairly stable. it's only got a few hundred miles under it's belt.
reckon when it's run in i might crack the ton.
TRipleXX 02-22-2009, 06:10 PM If he doesn't have a speedohealer I wouldn't trust that reading very far. Sportbike speedo's have about a 7% error built in. Get a GPS and see what it says.
Chrisj 02-22-2009, 06:22 PM I've hit 84mph on my gps. I'm at 900ft below sea level though.
i'm 1180m above sea level. I was out for a rip on the snowmobile trails today. pulled up beside a polaris 600 triple at 80mph. completely stock with no spark arrestor.
i was surprised to see that, as i thought they were only good for 60mph.
also hit the first jump on my 700 today. i was travelling around 50-60mph and hit the crest of a hill. i was airborne for 5 or 6 seconds. landed perfect. the furthest i've ever jumped for sure.
hondarider203 02-22-2009, 09:53 PM bought a week ago my buddy clocked me at 83 on the road in his truck i have to say at 83 mph and only being 20degree out that was one really cold ride

Always make sure that no rocks are going to jump at you. lol
80mph in -15c weather is pretty chilly. especially once the sled passes you and sprays you with snow too
5W0P3 02-25-2009, 12:38 AM FWIW... its 12:30am in Texas and its still 60* in February. Wherever you guys live that its negative whatever or below like 40. Let me know, so I dont go there. I'll die. Should be 85 on Friday :D

xx700xx 03-03-2009, 05:40 PM i'm 1180m above sea level. I was out for a rip on the snowmobile trails today. pulled up beside a polaris 600 triple at 80mph. completely stock with no spark arrestor.

LOL, are you sure about the air time? I used to do freestyle jumping a 55' gap and my hang time was around 2-3 seconds. 5-6 when you actually count it off sounds like you were landing in the next county. If thats true that is out of control and AWESOME!! LOL:yay:
scuzz 03-03-2009, 09:34 PM It's the Internet.
Divide everything by two. :D

Damn, so the XX tops out at 40mph. LOL:funny:
Admin 03-03-2009, 10:54 PM Yea I'm sure it feels a lot longer than it really is. :D Even the record breaking 300ft jumps are only about 3.5-4 seconds of actual airtime.
well yeah lol. i couldnt tell you how long i actually was in the air, but it was the most air ive ever gotten lol
turkey32 03-04-2009, 11:22 AM Maybe you were high on some bad Swan Hills lettuce. Thats weed or Jamacian smoke. When your putting gas in your machine you should do it in a well vented area. Do you wear a helmet when you ride, I think you should start.
TRX_Sixpac_700xx 03-04-2009, 02:56 PM Since Jeff was bragging about the temp down in Texas (I believe he is from Texas), I have to say how excited that I am it is to be 62 tomorrow in Nebraska. Luckily I have a couple of professors gone tomorrow and has opened up my day for some riding at the local trails! BTW, 5 to 6 seconds is enough time that I'd leave a number 2 in my pants from such a long jump and have time to change before I hit the ground.
smo0oth1 03-04-2009, 06:02 PM Why is there a bold 62 above this post? ^^^^^^

xx700xx 03-25-2009, 07:37 AM I hit 61 on a 45 degree day in a farm field. The dirt was sinking in about 2" and I still hit 63 mph for a high that day.
