I'm planning on buying one or the other just torn on which. Im trying to find comparsions between the 2 but without hopping from thread to thread I can't seem to find a head ot head comparison.

SO I guess what I am saying is.

What are the pros and cons of each if they could be tested side by side.

If it matters I spend most of my time in the mud/woods in tight trail systems and hill climbs. Alot of time in the Hatfield McCoy system also.

Thanks

from what i know the 9/16 will still give u a smooth ride while being able to slide easyer while the 11/16 will give u a stiffer ride but will make slideing alot easyer

So basically, if I enjoy the XX because the of IRS and Trail riding then get the 9 over the 11?

I have the 11/16" and have no issues with ride. My xx still rides extremely smooth and I've been through some extremely rough terrain at the badlands and cliff's insane terrain. The handling is amazing and the ride is like a cadillac. Not trying to convince you either way, just my opinion.

Is either going to cause more wear and tear on other stock components of the rear end?

Not that I have seen at all. I have the 11/16 and have not noticed any kind of aditional wear and tear over the stock bar. Also I have not noticed there being any rougher ride over the stock sway bar either. I just have the ability to turn without any front end push and slide the rear at will. And like xx700xx said at The Cliffs Insane Terrain in Illinois it is rocky technicle trails. If it works like a dream there it will work ANYWHERE!

I have the 9/16" and I can blip the throttle and spin the bike on anything loose.(grass, dirt, gravel) I ride alot on pavement to and it made high speed corners more stable. (less body roll)

I may be wroung and usally am, but I would think the bar would reduce stress on the shocks, because it transfers some of the load to other side. So I say less wear, not more. And I also would think the the larger rider, the larger bar, but Kyle has the big bar, and he's like 100lbs under the Trx's weight limit. Either way get one and you will love it over the OEM.

 These are my thoughts exactly. I was asking the same question as you before I bought mine. After talking to Kyle I bought the 11/16" and am very glad I did!

i got the 11'16 and there is no body roll i can slide on just about anything. i have never ridden a 9'16 but the 11'16 is amazing changes the whole quad and makes it more enjoyable and less sketchy around turns.

I have the 9/16" and I do the same type of riding that you do. As others have stated I have never tried the 11/16", but I am extremely pleased with the handling that I get now. My IRS is still responsive, but I can whip my tail out and hit the tight corners with no worries.
