I bought this Atv for a project, but have changed my mind. It is a 2001 400ex, it is partly torn apart right now. It is complete with exception of some of the small parts(ie gas tank straps, seat bushing, stuff like that). It has new swingarm pivot bolt, bushings, bearing and nut. Brand new white plastic, brand new seat. It has white brothers exhaust, k&n filter. I was told it was standard bore and has new rings. The guy I bought it from was going to put a small motor on it for a mini for his daughter. This will not be a part out, all or nothing. Make offers, can deliver within reasonable distance. I'm an 1 1/2 hrs north of st. Louis.

Price is 700 right now. I cleaned carb and ordered new jets, when they go in the price goes up. If I get it together price will go to 1500 or so, maybe more.

Stuff I know it needs: exhaust gaskets, gas tank straps, rubber seat bushings, carb vent tube, throttle cable, chain, maybe sprockets(havent looked to see if worn out).

I have not in pic: aftermarket handlebars, subframe, 2 rear brake calipers, one with steel braided line, extra rear rim, gas tank, cleaned carbon with new jets on order(broke vent tube y), new swingarm bolt/nut/bushings/bearings, swingarm skid plate.

if you're interested in parting out some things, let me know... could use the swingarm pivot bolt/bushings and seat...

I'll sell the red seat, front fenders. As for the pivot bolt and stuff bought it off eBay for 60. Came with everything needed.

I don't need to sell for money, and when it warms up a little it will be put together. I have 2 atvs and don't need anymore.

If someone doesn't mind paying for shipping, its possible. There is another guy on here from nc that wants parts. Maybe split shipping if you both want different parts. Would travel close to 4 hrs in any direction, if paid for gas.

I'm interested in it as a whole. I think we are about 10 hours apart so I'm not sure about driving that far but I'll think about it. Whats your zip so I can check out some shipping.
