I'm seriously thinking about upgrading to RAZR 2's all around. I like the look of 22x11x10's in the rear but have heard that a 10" rear wheel on the XX has limited clearances. Has anyone had issues with clearances? I'm assuming the stock wheel guards will need to be removed to install the 10" rims. Any other mods/concerns with going with 10" rims?

You won't have a problem unless you bend a rim. Or get a rock stuck in it.

With that being said... ITP or Douglas rims? After reviewing both options on Rocky Mountain's website, it sounds like ITP's have bending issues.

Most of the guys like .190 Douglas, you can save money up and send them to omf if you want for reinforcement rings or beadlocks..

Douglas it is. Thanks. Too bad ITP didn't make the SS rims for the XX. I really like the look. A buddy of mine has a Raptor with them on and they look nice.

I just did this exact rim and tire swap and I couldn't be happier. You will need to remove the mud scrapers but the 10 inch wheels fit right on. Tight fit but they definitely fit. The Razr2's are great, they make a huge difference!!!

I went with the DWT .190 in the rear and g-force wheels up front.

I have this setup with ITP wheels all the way around. LOVE my rock gaurds on the front. No bends here - surprisingly, my stock wheels look like squares.

Looks Awesome! I really like your bumpers. What offset are you front wheels? 3+2? I think mine are 4+1... i dont remember.

Thanks, they're 3+2. Thats the infamous pro armor XC bumper. Naturally it broke first time out but since I had the welds redone its held up pretty well. Got the PRM Desert grab bar out back.

Think I'm getting the hang of this whole photobucket idea...lol

Only tire size affects gearing.

You need a rear rim with a 4+3 offset to avoid needing spacers. ITP and Douglas both make 10" rear rims for the 700xx but Douglas makes a better rims in my opinion. 10" rims will make the rear end about 2-3 inches wider than stock but since you will be riding on the road, I doubt it will matter.
