I have it right now bone stock. I just wanted to see how the gears worked out. I think it works good for the riding I do. I didn't think it was going to fit at first.

I have a knockoff hotcam, an FT chip (adjustable diode), hollowed muffler with a $50 billet tip and a k&n with an outerwear, super cool and purple ice and water in the rad, those stupid billet inline heat exchangers and a wrapped header, it's definately still pretty lean, but it runs good like that, i did the same to my 450r, one tooth up and it seemed to be better, sometimes i miss the low 1st and reverse gear, but to hell with it , I tried it and i like it for my riding style for sure ;-)

I know, its not crazy lean, but it's not as rich as i want it either. I think i leaned it out some by gutting the silencer, but i did put a spark arrestor back on the end and i oiled my k&n pretty good, plus it has and outerwear and I put that stupid diode thing on which seems to help, i meant more like it is running fine, just not what i want it to be, or more like its running to the max of my current budgets potential especially considdering i need new back tires and some amsoil and a filter again very soon

I currently run a 13 tooth. I have also purchased a 15 tooth, but it still sits in the package tucked away in my garage untill i feel the need.

I love my 15 tooth but i have supporting mods to back it plus i have dropped from the stock 22" tire to a 20". You can get a 15 thooth at rockymountainatvmc.com . To run a 15 tooth i think your going to have to grind a little out of your case saver. I believe you can even purchase a 16 tooth somewhere...... Its all in what you want. The bigger the drive sprocket the more top end, but the bike will not pick up speed as fast, unless you add some performance parts on your bike

unless you will be riding over 70+mph all day go 13 tooth
On the short ovals a 15t front works great . Stay in the first 3 gears is the way to get the best out of a stock motor. 16t works better though. The step up in ratios between 3rd and 4th is a killer. I have a set of fronts from 13t to 18t for "Frank" which will be a 3 speed gearbox. Upto 16t should fit without any mods to the chainsaver.
