You should feel the XX on loose sandy terrain at high speed. It's all over the place. Even on hard pack the bump steer is terrible. I do want to do some whiplash races. I got onto Speedworld Mx's track, mostly tighter stuff with small straights and wooped areas, last weekend and cornering was a bitch and the XX bucks like a wild horseon springs over tight woops and dives in and out of the distanced woops. I figure Teixeira's a-arms, a custom stem with a repositioned flag from Ed that will allow me to use my 7/8 Renthals, Shock and Vibe and CCP damper will take care of a lot of the steering issues (ordered and waiting for my 9/16 L8t0n sway to arrive). I'm looking for a way to take the harshness out of the suspension. The rears have too much rebound and the fronts too much compression for my 210 lb, 50 year old, riding like a maniac ass.
i got a set of elkas stg 3 front and rear for 1850. shipped free from worldwideperformance1 .com web site sucks so call him and he will give you prices. as for mine it took about 2and ahalf weeks and they were setup perfect i was pleased
So far only have the front on the way. I really want a pair of Matlocks revalved rear Stage 4s that he's selling. If he ever replies. If not I'll probably just get new Stage 3 rears, $925 shipped.
Well I went with Podium x's in the back, Stage 4 up front. Under 2 grand, total $1950 shipped. I also got Teixeira uppers a-arms on the way. Review to follow.
