thanks!

it will be interesting...

my team mates are both running canam renegades so we will have a round about mileage to figure fuel off of. i would REALLY like to have a RIPXX to do lap times and speed. i have a feeling the XX will whoop!

casper, wyoming

we are going to go mark the track tomorrow, gonna try to make it at least 15miles per lap with hopefully one long smooth straight for resting in those wee hours of the morning.

i checked over the quad. i didnt really put a wrench on anything just more of a visual on the nuts and bolts. other than a lube/oil/filter and a fresh air filter service i should be good to go.

also:

we did a test the other day doing 8 miles of race like conditions. although not super accurate, it took just over a 1/2 gallon to top it back off...pretty thirsty but not as thirsty as those canams are gonna be :)

got the track all marked out in a rough draft lol im sure we will have to do some fine tuning.

there are some really gnarly sections and some sections that you can just sit down and cruise. should be a blast!!:xx:

although i didnt make it the whole 24hrs my team was able to keep on finishing second overall against mx bikes and quads. i posted the fastest quad lap time at just under 10 minutes to navigate the 5.5 mile track. sprinting hard may have been part of the reason i was only able to make it just over half way due to nausea brought on by the bouncing light and severe elevation (my ears popped every lap) changes. i could have kept on but the last thing i wanted was to get pancaked by the XX in the wee hours of the morning because i couldnt figure out which corner/cliff was next.

had a great time and ended up healthy!
