looks pretty sweet, but I thought it was illegal to remove the safety labels in oregon. I could be wrong.

I read through the ATV safety laws and saw nothing mentioning this and no online searches seemed to have people talking about it. Manufacturers are required to put them on when its -new- but thats it

thats cool. u may also want to check the law on placing your ohv sticker. i thought it had to be on a rear fender. im probably wrong though, and i cant imagine they would give u a ticket for it anyway. I might have to look into doing something like this.

Britalican, places can't make you have the required safety stickers. If that was the case then no one in that area would ever have aftermarket plastics, which is what you can always say if someone questions it. I ran into this on a sled once, and then I looked it up and I didn't see anything for it.

Also, Rith, is there any good riding places by you? I may be moving to Salem soon.

When you buy them it gives specific guidelines on where to place it depending on what vehicle you are sticking it on, and the ATV one says 'Right hand side on visible location'. The dealer when I first bought it even said 'most people stick it over the safety label' :lmao:

Oh ya theres a decent amount of places to ride, just the weather sucks most of the year so it can be kinda hard to find a time when its not raining :disgust: Also depends how far you are willing to drive

Browns Camp is closest to me, 'ok' trail riding. About an hour and a half... probably not worth it for you
Sand Lake is about an hour and a half from Salem, and an hour and a half from Forest Grove (where I'm from). Send me a tell if you ever want to tear it up some weekend, its alot of fun
Oregon Dunes are further south (about 2 1/2 Hours). I haven't been there yet but REALLY want to when theres a nice weekend
Millican area is around 2.5-3 hours from you, never been there but heard its fun. Fairly flat, but TONS of trails
Christmas Valley is another sand area I want to go to. Long drive (up to 5 hours) but is supposed to be good

There are a few other smaller areas but thats about the 'best' of it
