thanks for the info in never heard of a piston being nikasil coated , i have heard of ceramic coated piston on the thumper racing ktm 600cc in dirt wheels this month and some kind of teflon coating for friction from cp. i think cylinder works kits have a nikasil sleeve or coating on there cylinders, if the cylinder is nikasil can they be bored out?:xx:These are your standard "off the shelf" pistons cp sells for the 700xx.

The are not anti-friction coated/ Nikasil pistons. The oem Aluminum cyclinder has a steel sleeve, so no need for the pistons to be Nikasil coated IMO. You can have them custom ordered through CP, if you order 3 pistons.
i appreciate the info boost, im planning on doing this , this winter. thanks:xx:
CP doesn't make a 11.5:1 piston for the XX? Did he have CP custom make one just for you? They would be Special order and you must buy 3 or more of them:tup:I bought my 11.5;1 CP from EHS racing. You can still run pump gas on this one.
