what is the top speed with 15t sprocket?

i am really thinking about getting one i have a 2000 honda 400ex right now and im looking to upgrade. i ride trails and drag race my buddy with his 400ex and outlander 800 how do u think it would hold up?

I ran mine with my gps on it 2 days after i bought it and i topped out at 87mph bone stock. i am guessing that with with a 15 tooth you should get a least mid 90s if not faster.

I think the math puts it around 94, but I can't remember for sure. You better have some motor if you want it to pull that high though.

Checked the math, should be around 93 if you are hitting the same rpms. =87*(15/39)/(14/39)
The 39s aren't needed, just showing where they would go if they were.

gezz u must have some nice roads where ur at... anyways yes the xx can handle drags easly... the main thing is getting the shifting points right..

Don't think mods will make a difference on top speed just how fast you will reach the top speed. I think with the 15t on it hit 94 at the rev limiter.

If all your racing is against the 400ex, it won't even be a race. My buddy has a 400 and I can literally ride a wheelie while outrunning him. The moe modern 400s are slightly closer. The. 450s are pretty quick but the ones I ride with top out while I am shifting into 5. Never been around a 700 raptor or kfx700. Only thing I have lost to and I was stock was a built zuk 450(built 525 kit) and he left me until bout 1/2 way through 4th, caught and passed him then hit 5th. I do not know what these guys have done as far as gearing, the zuk was geared down and on 18s for mx.

Idk how u guys are hitting mid 80's stock. Mine topped out at 78 when it was new stock. With big 3 I still only hit 81 with wind at my back. All on 14 tooth. This was with both my vapor and gps.

bone stock with a 15t in theory the top speed is about 150km/h 90mph but i dont think that the motor will take you to this speed, if your looking for more top speed out of a bone stock bike i reckon you will be better going with a 13t front. just caus the bike will be able to hit the limiter in 5th with the 13t front

Takes a pretty good bit of ass under the gas tank to go over 90. Heavy quad with big sails of fenders hanging off to catch air will hamper top end speed along with time of which top speed is reached. I would say 60hp XX would top out at 94 geared accordingly but a stock or Big3 bike may not without help of unlevel ground or wind speed from the rear(or both).

I was on a paved road when I did my runs with my GPS and let it go and go and go. Not so bad getting to low 80s with the 13T, but mid 80s with the 14T took a lot of road.

Have never been able to hit the rev limiter in 5th, leave that to you smaller guys.

I'm 140 and still can't hit limiter in 5th with 13t. That is with quiet core tho, idk if it would without it.
