Well... for those of you that want to know, these are both big 3 bikes.

Mine has one of Bo's maps in it... can't wait to get it tweaked on the dyno... (more to come on my big3 XX write up)

Hows the map doing for ya? Looks like 2-3 lengths over the 525!
Did you pull him from the line or have to catch up in second or third? You going to the dyno soon?
I've had this same outcome with two guys talking shit with their Raptor 700's. I figured I'd lose but it wasn't the case. They don't say much anymore other than they wonder how fast it would be with 100lb less.
Tell em to contact me and Ill tell em how to drag race the 700R, its not like any quad Ive ridden on drag racing. I got a 9.013 @ 72mph stock at the local 1/8 mile drags by racing it an unconventional way. I can get more than that out of a stocker now that Ive learned even more.

Yea, there were three videos, but all were on his camera... i want to see the other 2. :hey:

The map is awesome - but it definitely needs tuned on a dyno. Typically when i goto RRMT i use about 1/2 - 2/3 tank of gas. This time, ran out at 3pm and had done less riding. If it sits there idling for about 3-5 minutes it will die. I'm assuming its loading up with gas or something I dont know.

When he got the holeshot - He would jump out about 2 bike lengths and I would pass him by 2+ more by our finishline.

[goosebumps!]
This thing is scary. One time when I launched (launching it 2nd) the front end immediatley came up. I let off the gas to get it back down and when it hit the ground again i jabbed it again, back up came the wheels... its an AMAZING ride lol.... bring extra pairs of underwear.

Ahhh yea... raptors. There were 2 raptors out there aswell, both of which we had planned on racing. The one raptor 660 BARELY beat me... he was on paddles, I'm still on stock tires. I never realized how beneficial paddles were in the sand till then. (I'd never seen them in real life action).

The other raptor (700) :hey:

I went into it thinking - "we're both big 3 bikes, this should be close, but he'll probably win since he has ALOT more experiece". We were close. He would get the holeshot, but by 3rd gear he was about 2-3 lengths ahead of me, not pulling and I wasn't gaining. We raced a good 3-4 times and same thing every time. He was on a stock 14t sprocket, I was on my 13t. Next time we all get together for some racing, i'll have my 14t on and we'll see what happens.

Once we were done we were all parked talking and he said - Wow, I was actually impressed at how well you kept up. I actually have a port & polished head and a cam, PLUS the big 3. He said he made 56rwhp.

All in all the big 3 DO completely unleash the beast! You MUST respect the power that it has because its crazy. With this much power in the woods, it can get you into ALOT of trouble QUICKLY. At the same time, I found it easier to slide around corners, jump, wheelie over stuff... all in it made a already perfect bike - that much better. I now call it "scary".:yay:

Now you see why I say going to a 15t on these things will probably be a good idea once they are uncorked. The 700 Raptor guys do.

Any ideas why its dieing at idle after 3-5 minutes. Or fuel consumption?
Yup the big 3 completely throw the need for the 13t out the door. The few races I done the front stayed up until mid 3rd with my chin over the bars. Extended wheelbase rear A-arms will be a must once built motors start getting out.

Most positive its running rich, Pull your plug and post a pic
It may be lean at idle still too. Ill look at the map and send it again to ya.
Your gonna use more fuel still though because your making more power.

Would it be possible that you could send it to me too (after you edit it)?

I'll be soon at the same settings as him and wanted to save tome time (please).

Thanks!

Need a plug check first so I can tweak the map. Post a pic of the plug 5WOP3 once you pull it.
You look at the plug yet?

I'm going to yank the plug tonight.

Here are my plug shots. I just pulled it out, it had a little warmth to it from earlier when i rode it down the street. I'm not sure on the proper "plug chop".
