Well this was our sixth race
And I didn't get the hole shot but I passed the leader in the first turn and held it until I hit a tree and could not turn right worth a crap because my tie rod was bent
So I managed to finish about 10s behind him but my teammate could not keep up with the other guys teammate and we managed Second place

I may have some good pics but since my camera was missing its card so my photographer didn't take any with my camera so I will have to wait and see what they have also no gopro I was to worried about hitting trees as they didn't trim thim up at all

This track was awesome it was wide open and very fast lots of hanging it out almost like a tt style track with lots of woods sections there was one spot that was so tight no one was able to go fast through it and anyone wider than 48" had to go around

For some reason my tie rod was easy I had it off straitened and back on before my partner finished his lap under 15 min and I finished the race with it
But I know what you mean their usually a pain

Your lucky then. I bent mine pretty bad so I bought new ones that are 25% stronger and the ball joints that connect to the steering stem are like cemented on and i rounded the nut so i had to buy them too. That's $106 down the drain for hitting a stupid small tree.:eek:hno:

Yep I managed the whole race with it but I ordered two sets of HD rods with a total of 210 so hopefully it will not happen again and if it does I have a spare set

Thats good, at least you finished the race. I quit after 3 laps and 1:14 into the race because my arms turned to jello haha. I think my CCP stabilizer doesn't work like it used to. Now that the tie rods are off, there is a bit of play before i can feel the stabilizer resist which i don't think there should be??
