As you may or may not know I am having some shocks built for racing MX rough sand tracks and I needed to provide loads of measurements as well as weights to the shock builder. These were the weights if it helps anyone.
The quad is exactly as I will be using it with all the extra bits I have added/removed, is full of petrol and washed clean.

Front axle weight 236lbs
Rear axle weight 288lbs
Total weight 524lbs

I then sat on the quad in full mx kit in riding position and took the weights again.

Front axle weight 306lbs with rider
Rear axle weight 420lbs with rider
Total weight 726lbs including rider

I am 202lb's fully kitted.

Do you know of GoldSpeed Tires, they are supposedly made in England and am looking for their GS-XS model but have to fit our rear rims. Have you heard of them and do know how we can get in touch with them. Thanks

Goldspeed are good tyres. However they are usually soft rubber for use on hardpack blue tracks. I have some 18 x 11 x 10 but they weren't fantastic on the 700xx. I think the 700xx is too big and heavy to run 18" tyres unless on the road.

You should be able to see the range at www.schuurmanbv.com
Was told the XS tire were design for trail riding, enduro as they call it over there>> Europe

Oops meant to say GS-SX
