Also I was wondering what type of oil is best, I have one guy at the dealer telling me not to run synthetic and the other is telling to use it? both guys are at the same shop. I personally use synthetic oil in everything I have I would sure think u would use it in a racing ATV

I'VE HEARD RANGE OF 70 TO 175.....

CHANGE YOUR OWN OIL....IF YOU GO SYNTHETIC AT 1ST SERVICE...WAIT FOR LATER IN 1ST INTERVAL...ABOUT 10 TANKS BEFORE YOU GO SYNTHETIC....

YOU CAN DO VALVE CHECK ON YOUR OWN IF MECH INCLINED...THERE IS A THREAD ON HERE DETAILING STEP BY STEP.....
FOR WARRANTY PURPOSES....USE PIC'S TO VERIFY VALVE CHECK AND CLEARENCES AND KEEP RECIEPTS FOR OIL/FILTER CHANGES..:yay:

As long as you have the receipt and some kind of log when you service it, they can not void the warranty, it's totally BS.

I would use regular oil on the first service then go to synthetic on the second service and use the Honda HP4 oil or there are other brands that you can use which allot of members also use.

What all has to be done on the first service? I know Change Oil, Clean Air Filter, adjust Clutch & Chain and adjust the Valves. Is there anything else? If not I will just take it to the Performance shop and have them adjust the valves and clutch and do the rest my self I could probably do the Clutch I just don't know much about ATVS, I have good bit of Mech. Experince

it is all very easy to do, the only way a warranty claim can be denied is by proof of abuse or neglect. if you blow it up due to lack of oil it will be denied, just keep your oil clean and you have no worries.

The clutch isn't tough to do at all. All you have to do is adjust the free play in the handle. Your manual will show you that. For the valves, I brought mine in . They did it at the shop for 68 bucks. I also run HP4.
