Broken crankcase, can I fix it myself?

Broken crankcase, could I fix it myself?

Long story short, I blew my motor and now there’s a hole right where the balancer is supposed to be on the right crankcase. So, I would basically need to buy a new right side crankcase and transfer or replace everything to it and I wanna know if it's doable to do myself even though I don’t have much knowledge as to how I would do that. I have the service manual but want to know your guys’ opinion if it’s something that’s possible. Thank in advance.

Would it be fine if I tap into the red wire from the PCV? I believe this is where the PCV gets it's power so it shouldn't be a problem?
I’m unsure, I’d have to review the install instructions from dyno jets web site.

All good, I'm sure I can figure it out
Sorry been busy as heck, especially with Bristol dirt race coming up. I found this while searching for my old right axle.

No worries, not in a rush anyway. Glad to hear, how much do you want for it anyway?

Dyno jet says red wire needs to be connected to a switched power source, like tail light. I know others used the ignition wire. I can’t remember what I gave for this, I know they sale new for around $320, so I’d say $160 shipped.

I'm good with 160$, it does come with everything right?
Finally tried to get it started for the first time today and it won't start, I'm getting fuel and spark. The only way I can get it to turn on temporarily is if I spray gas through the intake. I'm getting fuel through the injector, don't know if it's enough or not but it looks fine to me. Not sure if the aftermarket pump is the cause but like I said, fuel's spraying through the injector just fine.

Figured it out, it was the cheap fuel pump I bought, bought an OEM one and it started right up. But now, I ended up some how cracking the brand new cylinder... My guess is that it was running lean. Didn't even last an hour, any thoughts?

Holy smokes, that sucks man.

It really does man. Don't think it's anything bottom end so it isn't too bad. Gonna fix it and try again, gonna not be cheap and buy the barker's exhaust instead of running the stock one. Still interested in getting that autotune off your hands if you're still willing to sell it.

How did the race go?
Race was awesome, except K. Busch won.

Did you use starting fluid or anything to get it to fire up? As far as the autotune, just let me know, I'll hold it till your ready.

If you mean after the cylinder was cracked, then no. Won't even crank anymore. Really hope there wasn't any damage to the head since it was a new head.
No I was wondering if that may have been the cause of the cracked cylinder. No way I’d suggest trying to start it after.

Didn't think starter fluid would cause something like that. But no, was running on 93 octane fuel
Just wanted to post a pic of the damage, the head seems fine, even though it looks like I need new intake valves since they got a bit bent from the piston hitting them

Be sure and dbl check your valve guides as well.

At this point, I'm thinking about getting some head work done. What do you think?
Idk that’s pricy, if I was you I’d just wanna get it running again.

That's true, you do have a point. The reason I said it was because my intake valves seem bent probably from the piston hitting it
