HI, I have xx for several years, But I've never quite figured out how to check oil. If I check the tank without starting the quad, I can not find anything on the dipstick, while If I start the engine, without accelerating for 5 minutes or 10 (it depends on the external temperature, as the manual says) I find the exact level as the English manual says, after waiting 2 minutes with the engine off. Italian manual says check soon after stop engine, no wait 2 minutes. Is it negative not to have oil in the dipstick, if I check after a day that I don't use the quad?

I never had luck checking oil either, with the sump motor. I asked years ago, and others just joked about it. Since then when in doubt, I just drain it and add 2qts.
