So i took my clutch cover off tinight and struggled with the brake petal in the way for the bottom bolt, it would be much easier if it was out of the way. Whats the best way to do this?

Push the brake pedal down with your foot to get the bolt out

I don't remove the pedal. I use a open end wrench to remove the lower bolt. Once it is loose, I push the pedal down and remove the cover with the bolt still in it.

Same here. Removing the pedal would be 10 times more work than is needed.
