I bought a new 700xx awhile back while working out west, bought it pretty cheap was not happy with the performance seemed to be lacking power in my opinion, took it to the dunes 1 time wasnt happy. Called CT talked to Allen said he had not done a 700xx yet but he had done plenty of xr650 said he was game. Told him i wanted the most he could give me but i wanted it reliable. That is exactly what he gave me , Ported head , installed + 2mm intake + 1mm exhaust, 11;1 piston, web cam, springs, CT Sonic full exhaust, PC5 programmer & dyno tuned it. made a little over 60 hp is very smooth & quiet till you jump on the throttle. If you are looking for some reliable HP then you can call Allen at CT.:D

I never said or implied it was a 1 off build hense the post, saying call him if you want reliable HP. I am sure he could get more hp if you wanted but watch what you wish for, in the open dunes it great, in some tight trails& woods in MO it is more than you you can control is some cases. The HP #s are with a stock air filter & a Web 492/89a cam on 93 octane fuel.

You will have to talk to Allen at CT I am not sure what he is going to charge to do it I will call & talk to him about it. I basicly droped my bike off & he played with it for a while he cut me some breaks on labor for having it so long it did turn out very nice.
