I'm. Probably going to get railed for this but I cheaped out and bought a dg rcm2 "slip on" for the trx. It had an fmf but the rear snapped in two. Tried brazing it but it shit the bed. Anywho the "slip on" end of the dg is tapered down and slips inside the factory exhaust ( I'm assuming the exhaust is factory). Did the ebay seller screw up of it my exhaust manifold maybe fmf and a larger diameter ?

Probably made that way, I bought DMC (which I love btw) and it slipped over. I contacted DMC and they said it is made that way and forms a seal as it warms up. Over makes a little more sense to me than inside because of the way the exhaust flows.
You should email the DG.

It makes perfect sense to slip over ( as the fmf did) but going inside makes no sense. All the exhaust will just blow out before it enters the pipe.

Thanks. Looks like they welded in a larger diameter pipe. I did some hacking and made it work lol. Fits like O.J's glove
