Yeah I really like it too. great sound, and had good gains with programmer. I like that it doesn't look like all the other pipes on the market.

i have the full dmc system and i like it, it is a bit louder than others out there tho if that is something your concerned about

it fits well and easily, is real easy to repack when you get the dmc packing and has nice gains through the rpm, its definatly something i would recommend and especially for that price as here in aus its about $700 without the controller

the weld broke? I have about 100 hours or so on mine and the weld still looks perfect.

it didnt snap the weld, it snapped the 3 bits that go from the muffler to the mounting point

im thinking the reason may be that i was training for a upcoming enduro so i was going over the same set of 100m long 2" deep whoops for about 45min a and also doing a fiar bit of high speed stuff over some very rough track, but i never would of expected this to happen on such a new muffler

2" bumps caused that, or 2' ruts. Imagine the beating the sra stuff gets if the xx breaks the brackets like that.
2 foot whoops about 2.5 foot apart trying to go as fast with stock rears as i did with my float evols and podium x's, and im thinking im more sore today than the bike is

yours came with a different spacer than mine did. I felt like it pushed the can too far away from the bike frame, so I just used 3 washers instead. try to contact dmc first and see what they can do to help. if u have to, I'm sure it can be welded pretty easy. I'm curious if something ever banged the side of the muffler weakening that mount at some point.

ive sent dmc a email and just waiting for a reply, the bracket could be welded rather easily and i think thats what i may do, as if i have to send my exhuast to dmc in the states and wait for them to get back to me and then if they do send another one out it will probably be about 4 weeks before i can ride again.
but i will wait to hear back from them first before i work out what im going to do

as far as something hitting the muffler i havnt had a crash since i fitted it and it hasnt been stood on the grab bar and their is no marks on the can so im not sure whats caused this

That mounting bracket is a poor design. That is three very thin pieces of what i'm assuming is cast aluminum. It wouldn't take much to snap that. I'm not sure why they made it like that because the DMC's i had on my raptor had a solid tab. If the bracket on the muffler does not sit completely flat against the spacer then when you tighten up the mounting hardware it would put a torsional load on the bracket further stressing the already weak metal. The mid pipe and muffler for that exhaust is heavy too. I could see how the vibration and shock from riding could snap that bracket pretty easily.
