Douglas Wheels

I emailed Douglas about them making an 11" rim for the XX. They have them available and are working on more options, including a 12-inch rim that will fit. Here's the response to my inquiry:

Part No.: 011-47
Description: 11X7 (5B+2) 4/144 .190
Retail: $112.44ea

*we are also in the process of making a 12" diameter wheel to fit as
well and a 11" .190 beadlock is in the works as well.

Nice job... Price will come down as more rim options become available... They have to cover their R&D costs.
I don't really see the point in the 12-inch rim. It will be useless unless you are going to run taller tires than the stock 22's. I sure wouldn't want to raise the XX any higher than it is.
I can see a need for it...those wanting to run 24 tires for more clearance. I have seen that on other models.
Good news, although a bit pricey for sure. I'd just leave the stockers on there for a while.

If you need that much clearance, you should be riding a ute! Yeah, it's only an inch more in ride height, but that would seriously effect the handling....in a bad way.
:hey:I would love to get some 12" ore 14" wheels with low profile street tires.
My xx is stil in Italy where it will be rebuilt for road legal use in europe.
Got an e-mail today that said the xx is allmost ready to ship.
Road use realy weres cross-tires down. So lots of us have 2 sets of wheels.

The spelling? I know I know:eek:hno:
What bolt pattern does the XX use in front and back? The standard Honda pattern? 12" rims should be no problem getting right now.

The front and back are the same at 144 mm. (the 400EX, 450r as well as a LOT of other brands (400cc mainly) use 144 mm bolt patterns in the front.

If you're racing in the Enduro...12 Hours of ATV America, or the new 10 Hour race they are planning in Iowa the ruts can be pretty nasty... That extra inch is nice when you see all the chain drive/solid axles hangning up on their sprockets and disc brakes. If you're not racing it's probably overkill unless you like the looks or have need for it in your local riding area.
howdy all ... if you are going to get wheels ..stay tuned ... i contacted OMF performance ..which is actually machining me some 11" douglas wheels for centers and beadlocks .... went ahead and purchased the fronts as well ...

will be next week sometime when they arrive hopefully... and will be happy to post photos of them...

if you do call OMF ... ask for a guy named bones and tell him Adam referred you ...
OMF beadlocks are awesome, how much are they charging you?

Oh and welcome to the club! :yay:
Trailin'....glad to see you made it over to the site! I was the one that told you about us over at the exriders/atvriders website. Get those pics up!
Those look great, will they make them in 20" too? Probably not huh....
Oh, those aren't mine. Those are trailin-me's. I keep wishing in one hand and ****** in the other to see which one fills up first.

Got my Douglas wheels with OMF beadlocks in the mai the other day. They are awesome. Cant wait to get some tires to mount them up. Anyone from the other 700 site probably sathem up for sale. Cant decide on powder coating the beadlock rings though. Pics coming soon
