I want more power on my 700xx but here aftermarket exhaust are illegal, wondering if I can just replace the stock header and air filter ?
If not then is there anything stealthy and that wouldn't be too loud that could give me a bit of hp more. Thanks.

2 of the quietest, I have found is FMF and Leo Vince. The FMF is alot cheaper.

why are they illegal there? if you cant get exhaust youll have to do an cam an piston then if you want to spend more money get a port and polish job too :xx:

Can I remove the decal of the barker exhaust ? Any other brand where it would be easy to remove decals and it would mostly look stock ?

its not an decal its aluminum and it is rivited to the cannister you can request barker not to put it there , all its going to do is fade and loose its color over time anyway from the heat the next one i buy is going to be minus that emblem because of that mine was red now its almost pink after 2 years of wear and tear and the anodized red muffler clamp is fading too :xx:

Motoworks would be a nice exhaust you can peel the metal decal off and it pretty mellow if you leave the spark arrestor in it.

I have duncan racing fatboy 4 exhaust, K&N and vortex x10..
Zaust is far to loud, worse still it needs repacking around 6-12 hrs..
Cant be done with that so put stock pipe back on and its now pretty quiet..
Also get exactly the same flat out speed... Figure that one out !

Yeah i just had to peel my decal off the other day..... that burnt on glue was tough to get off tho I used very fine scotch brite

where are you at that aftermarket exhaust is illegal? and is it a decibel limit or what? some after market exhaust are still not that loud. most companies will tell you roughly how many decibels their exhaust will be. If you want more power you pretty much have to go with bigger exhaust because honda choked the crap out of the 700 motor with too small exhaust to keep themselves out of lawsuits again as with the 250r.

Well I'm looking at the fmf powerbomb with stock exhaust. Would it work actually or should I just buy a filter and a programmer ?
I'm actually looking for the head pipe, a programmer and a filter.
