Its been nice enough to get out and ride lately so I just wanted to make everyone aware of the potential dangers when out riding/camping

it comes as no surprise to some of us that this is high fire danger conditions winds are up grass is still dry leaves are still everywhere weather is perfect for camping just be safe check your local regulations for burnbans be sure to have your spark arrestor installed keep an eye out for someone who might not know any better and inform them as well

If you are allowed to have a fire have enough water on standby in case something happens and to put it out when your done

Be safe and let's ride

Yeah I realize some of you are still in the winter climate zone but most of us in the southern plains are under real. High risk times lots of fires out our way so I just wanted to pass the info on

I agree... We've had a very wet winter here in Nor Cal and it's still raining as I type. You'd think that this would reduce the fire danger and it does... for now. But, when the rain is finished and the sun is out every day, we'll get lots of new growth. As we get hotter during the summer this growth will dry out and give us very high fire danger.

Florida is experiencing drought conditions and no rain is in the future until maybe next Thursday. High fire condition status is posted everywhere...2000 acres burnt down on the east coast 2 weeks ago... You could smell it all the way across the state...
