so guys I was just wondering if there are any piggy back front shocks from a different quad that would fit on the front of the xx without any modification to the stock xx shock mounts? thanks for the help in advance.

search the ds shock swaps and i think there are some for sale here right now also.

Honda 450r shocks work good but it sits a little lower

does the ds shock swap make the front end sit lower or does the bike sit the same height as stock.

You have to modify the shock mounts in order for the ds shocks to work. Sits a little higher from what I hear. You have to back the preload all the way off.

oh i guess I will have to keep looking. i'm pretty happy with the way that it rides though. it rides way better than my 250ex ever did.

Yes, just have to cut down the spacer on the top of the shock. No cutting to the bikes frame is needed.

Thats nice, I wouldn't want to modify the frame to fit someone else's stock shocks. Either save and get the good stuff or do these.
