Just felt like sharing this because it made me laugh

So I bought a CR250 2-stroke dirt bike a few months ago and whenever I started it, I had been turning this little switch on the side that I thought was the choke, because it sorta reminded me of the one on my quad

Well as it turns out the choke is actually this black pull button well below it. What had I been doing? Turning the fuel off :disgust:

I had an outboard motor gave to me once that ran good until I turned what I thought was the choke off, then it would sputter and die a little later. The symbols were worn off of the knob, after I looked at it more and took the top off, I realized that out was run and in was the mechanical fuel shut off. We have all had that moment.

Running on reserv from full to empty not realising that i had done that.
Turned the nob to reserv i thought but, then i stod in the middle of nowhere without gas lol.

Oh boy that would suck. I'm always worried I'll loose a chain, or run out of gas, or break the engine or something in the middle of nowhere
