you can get a mount for handlebars at rockymountainatvmc.com. I may do this in the future too.

I've heard that mounting it to your habdlebars isn't good unless its really secured and has a way to soak up a lot of vibration.. I just bought a 60CSx and will mount it to my bar pad.. the foam will soak up the vibration, and some zip ties will do!

Make sure you put it in a waterproof case. Don't wanna get mud/water into your electronics.

Ceballos how do you like the 60CSx? I want to get a GPS but I dont know what one to get. I'm just looking for something that I can mark places on the GPS so I can find my way back next time.

I just got it a couple of days ago and got to use it today for the first time... the only thing that I don't like, is that for what I want to do, I have to buy software for it so I could be able to see the topography (all the trails, elevations, etc..)... but I'm not complaining.. I got a GREAT dea on it! Maybe Jeff will see this thread and chime in.. I just saw his today, and maybe he can post a picture...

That's what I had at first until I roll the bike and the GPS flew off the bike and broke the mount.

Did you just use trails and wide open in the same sentence?

i have a touratech and a ram, i think ram is a better buy, but either way a power cable is a must imo as it negates any vibration that would shut down the gps if powered by batteries alone
later this month i got to mount a road book holder, gps, trail tech dash unit and its remote.
will be adding a cross bar for the road book.
will post pics when im done and i hope i find a good set up.

I have a garmin 62s - love it. I'm getting a Ram Mount before my trip to TN.
