Hello all. Just purchased a leftover 08. The dealer has to uncrate it. I'm hoping to pick it up on Tuesday. Any problems that I need to worry about with this quad? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club. I am curious as to what NUKE means? There has been a few people having problems with their clutches when they are brand new, but other than that, nothing. Have fun and enjoy it.

Welcome to the club
Here's a link with some great info towards your new toy;

Also noticed that you're not far from SSRT and St-Clair area or the Poconos. Perhaps one day we all could ride together.

Thanks for the welcome. I do work at a nuclear power plant, but not TMI. I'm about an hour from St Clair. What is SSRT? Ride in the Shamokin/Centrailia area from time to time. A ride would be great. Nash thanks for the link! Pretty good info. Can hardly wait for tomorrow. Talked to the dealer this afternoon and my xx is ready to be picked up.

Here's their web site link;

They are base in Clarence which shouldn't be that far from you. Sure would like to go there one weekend, would need to stay over night since they are pretty far away from us.

Well I picked up my xx yesterday. Wow, what a machine!! Can't wait until it's broken in to see what it can really do. A buddy of mine has a cabin east of SSRTA, just off of the Bloody Skillet Trails. We actually road up the SSRTA on part of that rail road bed but stopped when we saw the signs. Checked out their site and it looks like a blast.

Man, it's so funny that I've been managing some projects in that very area and doing everything possible to avoid going up there, but now that I've go the XX, I'm doing anything I can to figure out a reason to go up there to ride. I've got a big project going on NW of Williamsport in Susquehannock State Forest. I've got blood, sweat, and tears in that pipeline system up there and itching now to get up there and ride around. Snowdog, who hangs out around here, posted this link on a Wolverine site where we chat:
