Anybody else had any trouble getting the hose barb for the return line threaded into the tank? I am either going to get a brass one to replace the supplied plastic one or get a metal fitting with the same thread and try to clean the threads in the tank out with it.

I pretty much got it on there besides that. Any other words of wisdom on mounting this tank would be appreciated though.

I didn't have any trouble with the hose fitting. I am personally very happy with mine even though it is not a perfect fit. As far as words of wisdom mounting the tank.

I cleaned the threads out with a small pipe nipple and got the plastic barb to start. Anybody use any sealant on it?

That thread had a lot of complaints on the fitment, didn't look like there were any real tricks other than the obvious. The fitment on mine wasn't bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad.

Just am trying to install mine and there is no barbed fitting for the return line. They left it out completely. Does someone have a recommendation of what I could go by so I don't have to wait for one in the mail? I'd love to get her together today.
