Can you provide us with part numbers or links so we can build one. (winch, roller things, bumper, anything else that we need.)
Also does it mount where a steering stabilizer mounts.
A picture where it mounts would be great.
Thanks
Alex

I had to make the winch mount. The hardest part was make a mount that would relocate the upper shock mounts out one inch. You can see this in the photo. Were you see the D-ring thats ware the shock was mounted. The D-ring is great for a anchor point. The nice thing was I didn't have to cut or weld anything to the frame. Far as moving the shocks out one inch I haven't noticed any handling difference.

Parts list:

PRM-ATV
Baja Bumper SKU: XX701 $89.95

The tennis ball keeps the roller from vibrating and from making noise. Here is a link for some photos. http://s476.photobucket.com/albums/rr125/duravette/TRX700XX/ The mounting plate has tabs that are bolted to the upper arm mounting tab on the frame, and after relocating the regulator to the under side of where it was mounted. the mounting plate bolts to the place where the regulator was. In the photo you can see the red arrows and yes I did have to make a bracket for the shocks to move them out about 1 inch.
And for the rollers yes I did have to buy them, but it depends on the model of the winch that you buy if it comes with them or not.
Sorry I didn't have any photos of just the mounting plates.
I hope this helps you.

post some pics if you get a chance. I'd like to see the plate.

I don't have any photos of the mounting plate by itself. But if you look closer in the photo's you can see the mounting plate has tabs on it which are bolted through the upper a arm bolt. Trust me I wouldn't have gone to all this work to mount it with only two 8mm bolts.

I have been looking for winch installs on this quad since 2008 and you did it!!! It looks Great and I really like the way you did it. If you don't mind I am going to copy what you did.

How did you attach the mount which relocated the shocks upper mounts? Did you just weld up little brackets that bolt onto the existing little wings? Does each extension have one or two points of connection to the frame?

Thanks for sharing!!!!!

Nice work, I've been wanting to add a winch since the first time I got this thing stuck. It's a lot heaver to lift our of mud than my buddies 400ex. i like how far back you managed to mount the winch. Doesn't stand out or look tacked on at all! Think it's possible to keep the stock bumper with a setup like this? I realy like the way the black stock bumper looks but can't seam to find a way to mount a wich that doesn't involve tossing the stock bumper.

So how is the winch holding up? Have you ever thought about making the brackets again and selling them. I would be interested if you do. I really want to get a plow kit but I need to figure out the winch mounting first.

To be totally honest. After making them ones before I would hate to imagine having to do it again sorry. The best that I could do for you is to add some more photo's and give you some measurement's. hope that will work for you. The winch has worked great for the past two years now. The only problem was when I was winching my self out at a off side angle it cracked the bumper.

Hey guys, just got a winch installed on mine, wanted to send some pics so if anyone else wanted one they can get a good idea as the guy that fabbed it for me said it was fairly easy.. he used the mount that came with it, he had to keep it up and down because of room issues but didn't have to mess with any of the suspension or anything.. he also welded some rods from the bumper to the frame to make it stronger...i had to cut on the other part of the front in to be able to get to the release for the winch so wouldn't have to wait on it to unwound by switch.
