what is that ... a turbo?
Looks like a Fluxcapasitor.....
its a garret gt1241 turbo for 0.5-1.2 liters of diplacment
oh shit dood ... haha is all i gotta say
Its got alot of potential, there are 3 major turbo builders for the raptor guys and the power ranges from 100-150rwhp depending on internal mods. These XXs should respond just as well.
it should have more potential ... with the irs ... and a huge gain in hp not only will the machine be fast .... but will be able to handle... short chain ..long travel .. good ground clearance ... i like hpfreak! hell yeah dood... if you can make a head fit the motor ... id be interested in buying one.

side note ..some friends and i are heading to Mardi Gras ..i know slidell is just outside of town ..maybe we can share only 1 beer haha
the raptor guys gave me the idea and i know the owner of mountain performance theve been buildin forced induction systems for snow mobiles for years and they currently have superchargers for rhinos and raptors so it should be a screamer once its done should be together by labor day
Whats your goals with it and you have any setup details planned yet?
my goal is to place it where the air box is all the plumbing will be done from scrach right now im tryin to decide how to run the oil and coolent lines as that will be the hard part
could you not make a seperate oil pump and small tank to fit under or around the front under the grill? you could also mount a small oil cooler or 2 going up the front frame braces...

when i had a mitsu 3000gt twin turbo a houston shop installed oil pumps directly in line with the 2 frankensteiners so it was a seperate circulation system...same coolant ..different oil.
i just thought about taping in to the feed and return lines with t junctions that seems to be the simplest way

definitely more simple ..but the xx only has 1.9 qts of oil ... i woulda thought the turbo would boil and varnish the oil... would be better overall for the motor i think to have a separate oil reservoir with its own pump... and if you use synthetics ... at 8-12/qt ..changing the oil and filter every time you run hard would be more expensive than making a small aluminum oil tank and having its own pump... not to mention the benefit of being able to pump oil and coolant through it after its shut down.

there is plenty of room under the grab bar for a small oil tank ... plenty of room to run the hoses up and under the seat ... shouldnt be a problem to simply buy a good 12v pump ..or you probably have one sitting around ... and use any tank you have setting around ... just to see if it works ... if it does ... could then modify or custom make a tank to fit wherever you find it works best.

im not a mechanic btw ... i just see things and think about them ... and use the "what if" way of thinking.

That's a sweet ride! I hope that's not where the air filter stays, it won't take much sand getting through the filter to kill the turbo and motor.

Yep, thats were they are at on a sand dragger.
I have been thinking about the same thing for my 700. I have a GT28r left over from building my Busa and thought of hanging it on the Honda.
That would make for one scary ride.....
