Just came back yesterday and just wanted to let everyone know a few things that have changed since I was there 7 years ago.
We went down Sunday and left Wednesday afternoon
the town was closed down at 7pm except the pizza place
little sahara power sports was closed all day Monday Tuesday Wednesday
so we went to Stewarts buggy shop and they were awsome got us fixed up
the only gas station with card access at the pumps for 91octane is ampride and they will be closed this July and august maybe longer so be prepared to take fuel or call and wait for someone to show up at LSpower sports we called once and no one ever answered.

Still had a blast

Yeah that town sure could use a boost to think it almost lost half its atv $$$ by not allowing them in the town

I think you have to have a permit now just to ride the trail into town which does go down a few residential streets I'm sure some morons were not doing what they are supposed to that's why we have to pay to ride into town now

You can go get cash at the bank if you need to their atm takes most atm cards

Pay to ride into town? When did this happen?
LSpowersports has (so long as I've known) been closed monday-wednesday, unless there's an event going on. IE snake hunt, spring break, fall break. Most of their business is on friday-sunday, so they have their weekend monday-wednesday.

That place is scary with the stupids too. When I was there I saw one $65k + buggy LAND ON TOP OF another one. You gotta have a spotter. I was out there for two days and saw two people flown out.

No longer have the trail fee into town. But you can ride in the city limits only from sunrise to sunset. Which makes sense since nothing is open anyway. Dune fee's $10 per person per day.

Yes a spotter is required but it makes alot of sense it's impossible to know what's on the ther side of the dune headed your way.

Seen couple snakes and a big porcupine.

Just came back from waynoka. we rode sunday monday tuesday. 115 with the heat index in town no clue what it was on the sand, if i had to guess it was RED HOT!!!!

The Town is having trouble, every place was closed except the pizza and wings resturant and the gas station next to it and the grocery store and hotel.

Surprisingly we were NOT the only crazy ones on the dunes, but during the heat of the day we had it all TO OUR SELVES, it was nice that no one else wanted to come play LOL

LOL cant imagine what would of happened if some of you guys or gals with BIG ASS money invested into LOADS of extras would of had your quads there... they guys might have fainted
