Its probby ok should'nt be any worse than using gas. I use dishwashing liquid on foam or you could use simple green too.

well gas isnt good to use the filter will eventually start falling apart

I use a Twin Air filter cleaning kit. They cost very little and you get the tubs to the messy bits in.

This is it . I thought Twin Air was an US company. I paid £37 for mine.
