Whats up guys and or gals especially the gals:birds: Just want to put it out there we got a group going to Leerjack the last weekend of April. Leerjack is about 35-45 minutes south of St. Joes just off Hwy 67. They have mud races set up for the weekend. Check out there website Leerjack.com Me and my gf went down last year and that had sanctioned drag races can am was there with there new side by side awesome time. Were going to camp tent style going down that Friday morning staying til sunday afternoon. Ive talked to the gal who runs the place about setting up a night time poker run but havent heard back about that yet. Saturday morning were gonna float out of sam a baker state park which is about a mile down the road. Its a quick four mile float should be great time. Like to see some more folks out there.

Unless something drastic comes up I should be there for at least one day. I may camp out if I don't haul my camper down to Bennett Springs to store it for the summer for trout fishing. Hopefully the water on the river will be settled down too. So far there should be about 20 of us going down for the races and riding. I'll watch from the sidelines on the mud races though.

Yeah we were down the first weekend they were open this year. I think what keeps a lot of people away is the no alcohol policy. To me that is what makes it great. Family atmosphere and good times. The only thing I don't like about it is that the shower house is not heated. BRRRRRRR!

The people that run the place seem to be quality people that care about the customers too. I will for sure be back down there more.

No alcohol you say:steamed:I dont usually drink and ride but of an evening I do like a beer or 12. I might like to try the mud races just depends what its like im not snorkeled or really set up for it on either quad but I saure am game to give it a run if I think its possible. Ill do it on the xx. When we were down there last year they were some serious mud pits. I may be in over my head literally and figuratively:xx:

I'm also interested in a big StL ride. I've been wanting to do this for a while now. I have never been to leerjack or chadwick so I dont know much about either, except what I have read. I spend most of my time with a few riding friends either at st.joe or washita, which is about 15 mins. past st.joe. Washita is freaking sick!!!!! They have a n awesome mx track and some of the craziest trails I have ever been on and they also allow night riding which is sweet. They also have have camper hookups( water, electric) as well as have bath houses with running water. If anyone would like to set up a ride let me know. The only ride I do know of is going to be memorial weekend at st.joe park. I will be going down there on thursday to get an rv site for the weekend, gotta have my AC and shower, LOL.Look forward to hearing from some of the local guys and gals.

Wahita is sick. We rode there during a huge thunder storm which was crazy cause most of the trails have huge elephant rocks. It was a little scary those rocks are slick as ice when wet. Youre right though the mx track is first class.

Couldn't make it because of work that took longer than I expected. The plant that I am working at in CO added on some more work and the work we are doing took longer than what was originally planned because the job was not planned very good. Now I'm in a pickle because I have stuff back home I need to take care of more than ATV riding. Uncle Sam is not going to be happy with me.

Maybe in the future when things settle down we can get a group together and ride down there.

Well it looks like nobody will be riding at Leerjak. I thought the mud races was last weekend anyway. Seems I have lost track of time in Craig CO. Still seems like winter up here lows in the high 20's and snow just about everyday and then it'll be 55 degrees and sunny the next. I thought AZ was crazy till I came here.
