If its on there property for service, its there liability. I would definately contact lawyer.

I agree, plus I'd never use that shop or spend a single penny at that dealership ever again.

Something is fishy, and amazingly unprofessional, if they weren't willing to file a police report, or contact you to even let you know it was stolen.
