No worries they were lol first time i ever had sand tires and sand stars dont seem to roost as good as my buddies straight paddles it was to hot to hold brake and cover myself in sand but dude i have such a blast at the dunes i really dont care about the roost lol
Im finally getting used to the 700xx and have factory shocks adjusted about as good as possible. I love my 700xx just took time to get used to it
Btw it was over 100 degrees at 8am on the dunes in this video and most of this was shot around 1pm
wow thats crazy hot for out there. yea its so much fun i really like doing the shoot runs doen in the trees but you have to be careful cause some are pretty nasty. i try to make sure there is another way out at the bottom before i try just in case.
Ya it was insane hot!! I was drinking a gallon plus of water and a gallon of poweraid a day and still dehydrated half the time an i was fully hydrated when i got there. I even stayed sober at night no beer LOL
All the videos from august are slow speed the guy doing the video is 340lbs on a honda foreman 500 i told him before he got it, its gutless and its his first quad so either i go slow and he stays up or go fast and spend hours at a time trying to find him LoL
I took 2-way radios and had a SOP for anyone getting lost and it helped alot in august cause in may and june it got soo old spending 3+ hours a day looking for each other
And i threatened to gut punch andone who wouldnt follow the SOP lol we hand a couple of ralley points also it helped and and going painfully slow!!!!
Im like ricky bobby "I WANNA GO FAST!!!!"
