what kinda tires did you get? Any issues with premature front pad wear in the mud?

i bought the AMS Swamp fox's 24x9-11 rear and kept the fronts stock for now i think it rides a whole lot better
Looks like you should be riding a 4x4 if you want to mud like that. :)
maybe lol but i like the challenge and got stuck plus we had a 750 brute force pull us out
That's what I like about mud holes, the challenge of getting through.

looks like some serious mudholes, cool photo's.
Nothing a good powerwasher can't clean off... Looks like a lot of fun. Have you tried running sand paddles through the mud runs?
nope just those AMS tires and i got a rear set for yfz 450 for this weekend

The only issue with sand paddles is that sometimes mud doesn't clean out of the paddles and you end up with mud "bumps" on what looks like slicks.

It would be neat to see someone build one up for the Mud Nationals... You need tall and narrow tires for serious mud racing like that.
Ok... i know this is an old thread, but I want to see pics of the new mud tires on the XX.
I couldn't imagine having good mud tires on the XX. We have some ponds that have gone down in water this spring which leaves a lot of deep mushy mud and I only got stuck once. The one time was when I went through an area back in the crick behind our pond and found out that there were too many trees and straight up banks, so I had to reverse through the mud and ended up with the top of my rear tires flush with the top of the mud.

ya that sucks:steamed: i cant even tell you how pissed i am at honda right now. i had a cv boot split and several ppl here mentioned honda covered it warranty... but then i get the shaft and have to pay for it myself...

hey next time you talk to gary ask him for his warranty receipt, he was posed to email it to me and never did... it would sure help my fight with honda.
