Got a good size group of buddies together for a trip up to Red River Motorcycle Trails in Bulcher, TX on the TEXAS/oklahoma border. We had an absolute BLAST today and I think I FINALLY broke my quad in. :D This thing has gotten faster everyday I've rode it and today I put it in places on some trails that the Grizzly guys were giving me thumbs up. Don't have any pics of those, i'll be taking a helmet cam for that next time though :D Going back Jan 10th if anyone wants to go! Here are some pics from the day. Btw, I did install a 13tooth sprocket - WOW this thing is PERFECT!

<---- This picture was taken from a trail leaving the creek. (almost to the river)

I love hauling butt on that sandbar! I whipped a 660r's butt there too.

Oh yeah, you need to smile more in your pictures. :p

Man I wish we had some open playgrounds like that around here, Its mostly all tight wood trails, they are plenty fun but I would like to open it up more for some high speed activity

I can't wait to race a 660/700 Raptor. We'll be back there at RRMT on Jan 10th. I have a feeling i'll be becoming a member there lol.

Oh, and believe me... I was smiling REALLY big.

I found midway through 5th there. It's pretty good size space, little bumpy though but this suspension soaks it right up.

I personally like the trails. I followed 2 of my buddies all day long and had no problem staying on their ass untill my thumb got numb. Oh - they were on dirtbikes too.:hey:
Yeah I scared the crap out of myself by going through third and almost through 4th when I came up on a HUGE washout with a 4' drop. ( I was heading downstreem.) I blipped the throttle, brought the nose up and flew over the hole.

Whew!

I think the best part of yesterday was when my 2 friends on dirtbikes (they ride all the hard trails and have been going there for a while) and I passed all the utility quads and the look on their faces when they saw where my "sport quad" was. I dont think they thought one could get back there.
Yeah I got that often.

This is one of those spots there:

Yep. Been there. Done that. lol I never thought this thing would wheel as good as it does, but I would have NEVER taken a straight axle quad up some of these places. I was actually surprised at how well the stock tires did too.

Told ya so! :)

I think its wheeling abilities are handled by the IRS. I only got in ONE spot where I was a little ass puckered, because I was going backwards, the front was coming up, and right rear tire was going in a little ditch. I can thank my dirtbike buddies for not leaving room for me at the top of the hill. So backwards I went. :D
You could have played like you were the cue ball and hoped for the best.

Did you go up the waterfall or did you just take the picture there? :D I thought about going up it but it was right after the sob flipped so i wasn't up for trying new things.
Yeah right!

You couldn't walk up that thing!

Did you see that old junk car down there. How in the heck do you think that thing got there????

On Jan 10th, would you mind having a tag-along? (here's where I get to eat my "no trail scares me" statement.)

I just bought a second full set of tires, an airlid and an airfilter.

Woot!

Come on up man! There should literally be atleast 20+ of us! It's the combination of 2 different sites getting together, should have 10+ from each :D

I watched 1 rhino and 2 razr's go up the waterfall with out a problem. I did see the junked car, looked like a jeep. I think from now on, any trails i'm going up, someone will be holding on to a rope thats attached to the front bumper of my quad!
K, maybe I'm thining of a different area.

...and to calrify on my ballzy "no fear" statement, if someone else has gone up it...I will too.

Speaking of remind me to tell you about how I flipped my 400EX at RRMT too.

Great story.
